hi, like it says in my bio folks call me bones. any pronouns work really

got into WoC through the planes movies bc im an aviation fan but also fell in love w the cars movies too.

my ao3 account and my series of cars fics. I post sporadically with no guarantees since im a full time college student with ADHD and a brain that tends to drift from interest to interest lol

i mainly hyperfixate on the second planes movie but recently it’s drifted to doc and some OCs ive been developing :)

also been thinkin about forklift + airliner friendships........... smol + beeg. often looked over and looked down on + unintentionally super intimidating based on pure size. can do the most intricate tasks of all the vehicles we've seen + has difficulty in most situations outside their normal day-to-day. relegated to sidewalks/not allowed to drive on the streets with the rest of the ground vehicles + only ever flying between airports/most have never been off airport grounds. really I just like the idea of a really small guy and a really big guy being friends. they're buddies. the plane will absolutely land on you with no remorse if you mess with his little buddy and the forklift absolutely uses this to his advantage. they're just. everything.

planes are suuuper sensitive to air current changes around them (the smaller they are the more sensitive since a smaller turbulence affects them more) which is good for larger planes that have a relatively low field of vision for their size (they know when they're about to back into another vehicle/when someone is working underneath them) but it also makes them super hard to sneak up on since they can sense the air pressure changes of a vehicle moving around them. radar is better for over long distances but these instincts add in another layer to keep their immediate surroundings clear and make sure they won't damage themselves

ground vehicles that've never been around planes either have never heard of it or talk about it like it's a super power 6th sense thing but vehicles that live and work in close proximity to planes (i.e. living in the same town as them or working and befriending airliners at an airport) don't even notice when planes do it other than complaining about how hard it is to play a practical joke on them. some even claim that if a car spends enough time around planes it too can pick up this skill (debatable)

the bigger a plane gets and the older a plane gets the less accurate the feeling is. so a cessna could easily track a tug moving behind it but an airbus might lose its exact position depending on where it is (they are very good at knowing when someone is working beneath them). military aircraft are scary with how accurate they can track someone and no one is sure if it's bc their equipment is better, if their training and instincts are better, or some odd combination of both. even other aircraft are creeped out it

Can I put my brainstorm about planes 3 in here?

Putting my nonsense that you probably know about for sometimes or even years now???

I just discovered that there's going to be a planes 3 to be made, it was cancelled all thanks that the studio went gone. The plot still lingers in my mind and I checked the tag for the planes 3, I see one of the post there having storyboards, fanarts, and grievings because we got robbed (and I'm completely agree with that).

Like C'mon.

Not just that, there's more world building about the possible future for the vehicles in there to go outer space without the need of a rocket sending them there. I donno if Dusty's going to be the protagonist because all I see in the storyboards are jet fighters or another planes completely, and only some of the picture (including the promo posters) have Dusty on it.

The possibility of story could be many, so many I'm not sure if I can put it into writing. (Ps if Dusty is retired as a racer and becomes a full on firefighter would be a cool development)

Wait I forgot to mention that probably the spaceship are sentient?? Because I think I see a faxe on of the storyboards.

And why there's barely any fanfic going further down with this, might have little about the contents but i think that's enough to at least spark a fire of 'Yup I'm going to make this a whole fanfic because of a certain industry says no' came up.

And and the planes design looks silly but, it seems that the focus are on some kind of hangar?
