I think it's rlly interesting how many rickorty fics go out of their way to parallel Morty to Diane. Eye colour, etc-- when it's explicitly stated in the show that it's Summer who reminds him of Diane. That he respects summer, that he thinks she's capable, that he doesn't treat her the same way he treats Morty because she's like Diane. It's such an interesting aspect I don't see explored. Rick loves Morty because he's not like her.
