“Will justice be served today?”
“I would hope so. But you’re also going to need to be a bit more specific.”

“Orloni never really see humans or any other species so it’s a bit of a surprise to them but they tend to like us pretty quick.” Peter scanned the area for other Orlonis and creatures on Morag but was unable to find any. “Seems like the Orlonis are the only species here currently.”
Matt nodded. “Makes sense.” Sammy turned her attention to Peter’s comment, curious about what other creatures might be around. “What other species live here?”
Peter looked to Sammy. “Weirdly enough. No other species really live here. After the flood wiped almost everything out, the Orloni stayed and adapted.”
“Will justice be served today?”
“I would hope so. But you’re also going to need to be a bit more specific.”
One of the orloni looked at Sammy and playfully chirped.
“Guess it likes you.” Peter chuckled.
Sammy giggled. “They’re so cute!” Matt smiled. “They are. Didn’t really expect wild animals to be this friendly.” Then again, Matt knew he hadn’t really encountered that many wild animals besides pigeons and the occasional urban fox or raccoon.

You ever just go through your past likes on here and just think
Man was I dumb
like for a starter or something. Idk, trying to get back into it again.

Peter stood up and looked around for a pool of water. He spotted one and pointed to it. “Found one and it looks like there might be some in the water.” He started to walk towards it.
Sammy looked towards where Peter had pointed before following him. Matt followed close behind.
The orloni the three were petting followed ahead then jumped in the water.
Peter walked to the pool of water and saw two orlonis swimming along with the one that jumped in the water. “Got two including the one we saw first here. Looks like they’re doggy paddling with their little legs.”

Peter chuckled. “Right on the money, very close to the water rats family. They adapted to the planet after it flooded, extremely good swimmers. Might be able to find one swimming if we explore a bit.”
“Will justice be served today?”
“I would hope so. But you’re also going to need to be a bit more specific.”
The Orloni let Sammy pet them. It was calm and adjusted to the new species in their habitat.
Peter looked to Matt. “Wanna pet it? Looks like it like us. Plus, when one is calm around other people, the others follow suit.”
Matt looked down at the creature, noticing how calmly it seemed to be handling Sammy petting it. He leaned down slowly, reaching out carefully pet it. It was, as Peter had said, slimy, though hardly unpleasant. He had held creatures in touch pools at aquariums at Sammy’s request before, so he figured this wasn’t too different from that.
Peter looked around the cave to see if any other Orlonis would gather but saw nothing yet. “Y’know, Orloni are closely related to rats. Ran a test on one before and their DNA is an almost exact match to them. Just some differences like the mouth and their use of two feet instead of all four. Crazy right?”
“Will justice be served today?”

Peter started walking towards the cave. “Orlonis should appear normally here so just keep an eye out for them. They’re usually harmless unless ticked off by something.”
Sammy nodded as she followed Peter, looking around carefully for any signs of the amphibious creatures. Matt followed closely, looking for potential danger from the terrain as well as any hostile beings.
An Orloni jumped out from behind a large boulder and jumped over to the trio. It looked a bit confused but jumped a bit closer.
“There’s one. Now think of it like a dog… more or less like one.” He kneeled and started rubbing its head softly. “Just a bit slimy but won’t hurt you.”
(For Peter) “Is there going to be a new installation of “what’s my snack?” soon?”
Peter chuckled. “Have you not been on my profiles? Just uploaded a new one yesterday. Ain’t telling you what it is though.”
“I suppose I’ll guess though. Though I know it’s not from Parnassos or Earth,” she said with a smile.
“You just gotta watch it. Sang a tune and ate some food.” He chuckled.

I JUST realized that I have unanswered things in my inbox. Y'all I'm so sorry I never answered them.

Peter sighed. “ It’s not going to happen here. Promise you that. Pinky promise you.” He held out his right pinky to her
Sammy looked up at Peter and looked to his hand. She cautiously reached out a hand and wrapped her pinky around his. She spoke quietly, a hopeful smile on her face. “Okay.”
Matt stood quietly watching before speaking up. “Let’s go see if we can find any those water lizard things.”
Peter smiled. “I’ll make sure of it.”
Peter looked to Matt then to a cave. “Over there is where we should find them.”
