if i ever went on big brother and was in a position to potentially be a swing vote i’d just flip for shits and giggles. but i wouldn’t tell a soul. i wouldn’t tell anyone or the cameras or even hint at it to production. i’d just walk into the dr on eviction night and vote the other way for no reason other than to have everyone watching confused as hell.

I know Janelle made some assumptions and said that they didn’t allow her Xanax into the house, but after that, Kat also elaborated on the issue:
I’m not sure how much validity this holds (and frankly if I want more elaboration, that’s Kat’s story to tell) but I’m more willing to believe a former HG about production secrets than random fans on social media. I also don’t know how this affects Paloma directly or if this is an isolated case, but she does appear to show symptoms, and considering they let Jackson in the house while he was still recovering from his own addiction back in 2019, I wouldn’t be surprised if production fumbled the ball on this.
I’m interested to hear about other HGs’ takes/experiences on the situation (someone said Whitney spoke out about this but afaik I haven’t seen anything about it?) especially since their lack of urgency when it comes to mental health seems to be a repeat offense.
I know Natalie said she wasn’t allowed to take her ADHD medication her season because production said it gave her ‘an advantage’ in comps (when she was clearly struggling without it) and I think someone else that season said they were denied their medication too. I am medicated for ADHD so this really stuck out to me as my medication allows me to control my impulsivity, overthinking, brainfog, etc. I think there is a huge stigma about it just being about having a hard time paying attention or sitting still.
edit: i believe sometimes she was allowed it so production was in possession of the medicine??? i could be completely wrong though

almost all of big brother's issues would be solved if they made an effort with casting. they have an entire year to cast the show and these are the people they find? the marvin situation is ridiculous for one (CURRENTLY on AGT and has already filmed a season of The Circle???? how do you miss that??) but the absolute duds they picked this year is incredible. and if we're going to cast tiktokers, why not cast genuinely entertaining ones and not a guy whose claim to fame is having abs and wearing glasses. did we need another Alyssa from Sarasota. they really need to hire some younger and socially conscious/internet savvy people in their casting department because some quick social media investigation would do them wonders. all someone had to do was google marvin achi fr
