Love letter to psi ops

Have you ever heard of Psi Ops The Mindgate Conspiracy. It is an old game that came out in PS2. The game is basically about super power. You play as a soldier called Nick and as you go though the game you unlock more powers. At the beginning you will unlock telekenisis. This allows you to move object and enemies with your mind. But then you unlock mind drain, remote viewing, aura viewing and pyrokenisis. A unique game indeed. This game also had a really serious tone and storyline which made it more realistic. Unfortunetly this game didn’t get much exposure or didn’t sold enough because there is no sequel, even after all this years there is no sequel. Recently there was a similar game that got released called Control. But that game just didn’t do anything for me. I still think about psi ops to this day because that game was just soo ahead of its time, the game mechanic itself was soo amazing. And sadly i can never play it again because i no longer have a PS2. I want them to re release this game to current gen console or steam or remaster it or something. One thing i will always do is keep the hope alive. The hope that one day, in 10 years or 50 years, but one day somebody will release the sequel to this amazing game. Until then i will keep listening to the song With My Mind by COLD.

My favorite reaction youtuber

Has anyone ever heard of Charmx. He is my favorite reaction youtuber. I love reaction channel. I like dwyanenjazz, yaboiroshi, struckbybelz and etc but charmx is my favorite. Sadly he quit doing youtube in march 2021, so currently it has been about 8 months since his last video and he has deleted all his video. So i guess the saying is true, “you don’t know you are in a good time until that time is over”.

So thats it, just wanted to tell you about the greatest reaction channel you never knew. Hope he comes back but even if he dosen’t im just glad i was there to experience his moments.

Metamorphosis

The movie ‘In time’ is a really creative movie. I remember watching it ages ago and was blew away by the concept. So the movie is basically exploration of human life. In the movie everyone has a timer on their arm and when it reaches 0, you die. Time is eveything in this movie, it i your life and your currency. You can get more time by working or stealing it from others. But one of my favorite moment in this movie was when one of the character ask 

what you would do if you had all the time, and the other character says that he would stop looking at his timer.

This line really stuck to me when i started balding at the age of 19. At 19 yrs old my hairline started receding but it was only a little bit so i wasn’t worried much. But then it started receding more. It started receding super heavily at the age of 22 and i got scared. I was constantly looking in a mirror or would constantly take a picture of my head. Just constantly thinking about it. And i just wanted to stop thinking about it but i couldn’t. Every day, every night, just could’t stop. I remember this one night, i wanted to go to sleep but i constantly get out of bed to look at my head. Finally at the age of 24 i decided to shave my head and that is literally on of the best decision i had made in my entire life. As soon as i shaved my head, i felt an insane amount of weight being lifted off my shoulder. You can’t fathom the difference i felt, the weight, the stress, the constant anxiety literally got purged from me. And my dream finally came true, i can finally go through the day and sleep at night without having a single thought about my head. I went from thinking 100 time a day about my hair to 0.

And this is why i always remember that line from th movie.

This is my first ever water colour painting i did. It was originally painting at 08 june 2021. I call this painting Ehi. I was watching a movie on netflix called oloture. It is a nigerian movie and it is about a journalist going undercover into human trafficking. The main character is a female and at the movie she has a green hair. I really liked that green hair, so i was inspired to paint a darkn skin female with a green hair. The name Ehi is also from the movie. This was also my first ever painting sold to someone, i made £2. I was really happy when i got the message from a buyer because i wasn’t expecting anybody to buy my painting.

Freedom writer

I just rediscoverd a movie i watched a long time ago. The freedom writers. This movie is the reason why im starting this, my journal.This is such an amazing movie about the highschool students and gang life. All these students have such a sad stories and my favorite part was when one guy was kicked from his home by his mom for joining a gang. But near the end he goes up to his mom and ask for forgivness. That moment felt soo real. Watching him live in the street at such a young age. There was also lots of Anne Frank talk. How these students could relate to suffering with their own suffering. I cant even imagine what its like being a jew in ww2 germany. Just imagine the inhumane treatment. Same with living in an area with heavy gang life.

Another movie that is similar to this is coach carter. Both movie about a teacher trying to teach their student on how to live a better life. And these both movie is based on true story, which makes it extra motivational. My favorite line from coach carter is obviously, what is your deepest fear? 

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequet, our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frighten us. Your playing small does not serve the world, there is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people wont feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine as childrens do. Its not just in some of us but it is in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we unconscisly give other people permisson to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear. Our presense automatically liberate others”.
