I'm Carmelia and I write sometimes.
I'm currently working on the books Searching for Augustine, and The Olive Green Book.
I haven't yet figured out where it's going, or how to sort it but here's the Index for all of it:

I have a confession to make. Sometimes I scroll tumblrs fyp. The algorithm is pretty fucking bad and mostly bases what you see next on a single post you spent a couple extra seconds on. And sometimes that post was the last one that loaded before the feed had to buffer for a lot longer than anyone needs to read two sentences about otters, but the algorithm saw me look at those two sentences for 35 continuous seconds so now I’m getting a ton of otters I guess.
It also. This is bad. It also considers blocking and reporting to be active engagement with a subject. So if you’re on the fyp and you block a Grinch Shipping Blog the algorithm will notice you clicked three entire times on a Grinch Shipping Blog and gain the understanding that you engage more closely with grinch ships than anything else. And guess what. Guess what it does then.
What if your giving a bj in the shower and he just starts shampooing and conditioning your hair

Multitasking
“oh. oh” in writing is a treasure. I will never stop using it and cherishing it.

"you're the writer, you control how the story goes" no not really. i wrote the first sentence and then my characters said "WE WILL TAKE IT FROM HERE" and promptly swerved into an electrical fence.
One of the truest things that’s ever been said. I press my face down in a pillow and type without looking at my screen because I’m just a vector for the characters and next thing I know three hours have passed and I’ve written over 10,000 words
parried three bait posts in a row
the aroace read of ryland grace is so personal and haunting. "you don't even have a dog." was it not enough to love the world for the sake of living in it. was it not enough to live for the thrill of discovery. was it not enough to smile at your students. was it not enough to be afraid.
having 40 minutes to leave the house is fked because 40 minutes is basically 30 minutes and 30 minutes is basically 20 minutes and 20 minutes is basically fifteen seconds. but 50 minutes? 50 minutes is an hour, and an hour? ooobh thats plany off time
my only religious belief is that there is no afterlife except for the ublock origin team who are going to heaven and the youtube anti-adblock team who are going to hell
masturbation is evil not for any puritan anti-fun reason but because it has permanently claimed so many verbs
nobody can crank anything anymore. and god forbid you jerk

A travesty
I scrolled past this without second thought. Paused. Thought, wait, I've never seen a crane on the road. Scrolled back up. No answers. Typed this response, then noticed the book's author. What a whirlwind
Basically they bring it in piece by piece and assemble it on-site, using a smaller mobile crane (trucks with crane attachments) and once the crane itself is assembled, the top part can use hydraulics to climb up and down its own mast, so it builds itself taller like this
There is however no explanation for BJ Nomnom
the lesbian computer from portal was right. given the circumstances ive been shockingly nice
insane like/reblog parity on this post btw
