It was a Beautiful day on the island of Sodor and Salty was at the docks Telling a Story while Porter and Cranky were unloading and shunting cars for the other engines to collect.

Salty:The Wind Blew hard against The Ship lads,She Rocked back and Fourth! her Sails were Huge bigger than knapford!

Salty continued on his Story but somehow caught himself imagining a Bulk of his own. . .

Salty reversed so fast to almost crashed into James who was Half sleep since it was around 3pm and he stayed up late that night.

soooo! The Background on James and Edward with their "marriage" A LOOONNNGGG time ago when they first met they were on separate railways, often seen each other and when Edward was younger he was definitely a flirt so 2 conversations led to Late nights,But one Day James stopped seeing Edward and it made him a bit sad,Since Edward was sold to a new Railway(NWR) and 10 years later James Was also sold to the (NWR) where they didn't recognize each other for 8 years untill Edward joked about knowing a driver who he adored and James realized it was him.The man who just up and left with no word.But it's not a complete 1 sided attraction, Edward loves James too just in his own way since he's practically a father now,taking care of Thomas,Bill and Ben James started building a connection again with Edward after all these years,they shared Dates and late nights.then one night James needed to sign documents to get some extra Funds,and he needed a husband or wife, since he knew Edward's full name and DOB he used it then James would just say:

James:Hello husband

Edward:What?

James:Ya know~

Edward:No I don't know.

This would go on for ages until Edward just accepted his life as a "Husband" and James used this to his ability, the Other engines saw it as normal, Because James and Edward usually flirted whenever they had chances to see each other.So Fast forward over 30 years they are Still together happily "Married"
