I hate that everyone says be happy, let go of everything that brings you down, let go of your past and look forward.

No! No one is haooe all the time and that’s good! It’s totally ok to feel like shit sometimes it doesn’t mean you’re weak it shows you’re human. You can’t just let go of something. Sometimes there’s things you can’t escape from, including your past. It will always be there lurking behind your back and you should keep it and learn from it and it makes you who you are. Don’t let it dominate you. BUt don’t let it go either.
