When you realize that your family has it against you. Not believing what you say, not trusting you to do anything, and undermining you at every turn.

When you live you whole life in a world of imagination, coming up with complex backstories for imaginary people that only you see. Then, realizing that all of this was made up in your head and that your life sucks and fairy tales don’t come true in the end. That’s when you go into those imaginary stories even more to escape reality.
