Disclaimer: This series would be about Hank's journey through various events, be it the canon events with alteration or fan-made ones in no chronological order. Said events will be researched before writing about them. Canon characters may be portrayed differently as this series is set in a parallel dimension/au to the main canon.
Waking up several days later, Hank sits up and holds his head, feeling his head throb. "My head..." He looks around, letting his vision adjust to his surroundings. "Where am I? Why am I in a bedroom?" Getting out of the bed, he stumbles and falls on the ground. "Woah." Noticing his boots, gloves, and chest are missing, he uses the drawer to stand slowly. "The last thing I remember was me falling..." The door open, and a purple female bat walks in, carrying something in her hands. "Oh, you finally awake. Here, my mom washed your stuff, and I polished your bracelets." She places his boots, gloves, chest plate, inhibitor rings on the bed. "My name is Breezee. I hope you can join us for dinner. I will let you rest now." Smiling, she leaves the room and closes the door behind her.
Wearing his stuff and clicking his inhibitor rings on, Hank leaves the room and heads to the first floor. "Hmmm, I wonder how the others are doing considering they think that I'm gone. Unfortunately, I don't have my tablet with me. Probably for the best, or it would have been destroyed." Glancing at his inhibitors shining and smiling a bit, he adjusts his gloves. "Impressive." The deer lady walks out of the kitchen, wiping her hands in her apron and seeing Hank. "Good evening, dear. I hope you had a good rest. How are you feeling right now?" Seeing her smile and feeling his heart racing, Hank’s body releases a faint pink hue of chaos energy. "Y-y-yeah. Thanks to you, madame. I'm indebted to you for saving me." The lady smiles and sits on the couch, putting the spot beside her. "I didn't do anything, dear. I was walking home after work when you fell from the sky. It won't sit right with me to leave you there." Doesn't know what he's feeling, Hank sits beside her. "Forgive my rude manner, I forgot to introduce myself. I'm Hank." The lady crosses her legs. "Nice to meet you, Hank. I'm Scarlett. I'm sure you met my daughter, Breezee." Breezee brings a tray with a kettle, two tea cups, and cubed sugar. "I hope you like mint tea, Hank." She pours tea for her mom and Hank.
Hank takes a sip of the tea and enjoys the taste. "It tastes good. I taste lemon or lime along with the mint." Scarlett puts some sugar in her cup and stires it before taking a sips. "Mint and lime are good if you want to relax along with hibiscus tea. Though I don't recommend drinking too much hibiscus tea." Hank glances at Scarlett. "May I ask why?" Breezee sits near her mom. "It lowers blood pressure. Too much of it will result in passing out." Hank rubs his chin. "Interesting. I look forward to trying it someday." He blows on his tea and drinks it all before standing. "Thank you for hospitality, but I will take my leave." Holding Hank’s hand, Scarlett looks at him. "Stay a bit longer. Dinner is almost ready." Glancing at her daughter, she watches her go to the kitchen. Hearing his stomach growl, Hank’s ears droop a bit. "Okay, I will stay." He sits back down.
Scarlett brims. "Thank you!" Hank glances at Scarlett. "Sorry if it's rude to ask, Scarlett. Does Breezee take after her father?" Scarlett's ears perk up. "Oh, I don't know who her parents were. I adopted her when she was 7, and despite that, I love her dearly. She is my daughter, regardless of whether we are related by blood or not." Breezee peaks through the door. "Dinner's ready." Scarlett looks at Breezee. "Alright, dear. We will be there in a bit." Breezee notices her mother still holding Hank’s hand and squints before going back to the kitchen. Sighing and glancing at Hank, Scarlett lets go of his hand. "Let's go eat." Hank nods. "Lead the way." Following Scarlett after she stands, he eats dinner with them.
After some time, Hank bidds fair will to Scarlett and Breezee before leaving. Scarlett waves and smiles a bit. "He seems like a nice hedgehog." Breezee raises a brow. "A nice hedgehog that you seem to like." Scarlett's ears perk, and her face flushes, looking at her daughter. "I am not! I'm probably older than him." Breezee rolls her eyes. "Suuuuuuure, as if the way you looked at him wasn't obvious. Anyway, I will head to bed. Goodnight, mom." Stretching and yawning, she heads to her room. Closing the door and walking to the kitchen, Scarlett reheats the mint tea kettle and her tail wages. "It's been years since I felt this way..." She traces the rime of her cup with her finger before pouring some of the reheated tea for herself.

Somewhere near the town, Hank sits on a cliff overlooking the town and takes his chest plate off, putting a hand on his chest and feeling his heartbeat. "What this feeling is? Why do I feel weird from it?" Taking a deep breath and exhaling, he lays down and stares at the starful night sky. "Is this feeling that they call love?" He looks at his hands and clenches them. "Something like me couldn't possibly know what love means." Loosing his grip, he covers his face with his hands and sighs. "Perhaps I should get to know her first, then decide on what to do next." He gets up and puts his chest plate on. "That's a logical thing to do." He stretches to loosen up. "Before that, I need to find Sonic and his friends to retrieve my stuff, considering they think I didn't survive." Taking a running position and enveloping himself with chaos energy, he takes off.
