Flopping

In littlespace, your little will do some very strange things to show their emotions. Flopping, is one of the strangest. Flopping is the act of falling or collapsing face first into the floor, bed, etc. It can mean a variety of things when you catch your little flopping.

If flopping occurs during or after a fight, or when your little has been told “no”, it is the infamous silent tantrum. Your little is pouting and refuses to look at you until you’ve made it up to them. More than likely, your little will not move until you say sorry and give them a cookie.

If the flop occurs while you’re busy, your little wants attention. Badly. Normally, flopping in this case will mean that you ignored, or didn’t notice their previous attempts to get your attention. The flop is the final attempt before crying. It is your last warning before all hell breaks loose.

If flopping occurs seemingly at random, or after a long day of adult stuff, the world is crashing down on your little’s shoulders. Your little is at their limit and needs care desperately. This is when you need to be the best you can for them. Make them some macaroni and give them a long warm bath. Make sure you have them drink lots of water or gatorade, and get them to sleep.

Flops are easily cured, and actually adorable. I hope this helps any new caregivers!

Unattended and unowned, she wanders the house for food to survive.

Thinking she is an adult she attempts to feed herself with what little food she can find.

Here we see her eating a pot noodle for breakfast.

We have to be careful not to disturb her, or she may get scared and go find something even worse to eat like cookies or sweets.

Maybe in the future she will find someone to feed her and take care of her, but for now, she must survive on barely-food and change herself.

This is the life of an unattended, wild little.

No matter what your reason is for age regressing and/or wearing diapers. Enjoy being who you are and never let anyone make you feel inadiquate because of it.

Bed time routine idea:

1. Announce to your little that it’s time to get ready for bed. If back talk follows, explain why it’s important to get lots of sleep and if necessary, discipline accordingly.

2. Lead your little by the hand to the bathroom sink. Put toothpaste on their toothbrush, sit them on the sink, and brush their teeth for them / show them how to brush properly. Cuddle and handholding is encouraged. If your little is wearing makeup help them take it off and/or brush their hair.

3. Lead your little by the hand to the bedroom. Have them sit nicely on the floor/bed and hand them their stuffies/pacifier/blankie to keep them busy as you pick out their jammies.

4. Undress your little and put them into a fresh dip (if they wear). When they try to undress themselves be loving but stern as you tell them to let to be a good boy/girl and let Daddy/Mommy help them.

5. Caress and hug your little and praise them for being so good while getting changed. Gently lay them down on the bed and tuck them in- double check to make sure the whole stuffie gang is there.

6. Find a bedtime story online or buy a book in person (great little date idea here, hint hint.) Read it to them while asking them questions about the book (what’s your favorite thing about this picture? etc). Give them a bottle (if they like that sort of thing).

7. After the book is finished. Turn out the lights and help your little relax. I personally love when Daddy insists that I turn onto my tummy, then he turns on an app that plays white noise (it really helps me sleep). Lastly he counts sheep and rubs my back. Sometimes I get fussy and he gently shushes me to sleep.

I want a bedtime at 10 because little girls ought not to stay up late

I want to be told to put down the books, that sounding out the big words is going to hurt my head too much, and that I should just stick to coloring.

I want rules and structure to remind me constantly of how small I am, of how incapable I am, of how much help I need from others.
