Unrequited Love

Memories of us forced my heart to shatter,

She said she'd move on, and so she did, and that made my heart fatter.

The days, they fly, and soon I'll fade away,

My memory distant and she'd forget me in one day.

With her new smile, another holds her tight,

While all I can do is whither and fight.

Unspoken, crushed and smother,

Loving her still, and seeing her happy with another

I know that time will heal my broken love and I'll just have to try to keep dreaming of.

For in my heart I still miss the laughter

That I heard so sweetly from her side of the ever after.

My heart aches in a way I can’t contain,

For I love one who doesn’t feel the same.

My heart longs for them to be near,

But I know of their feeling that I’ll never hear.

I wish I could tell them how I feel,

The truth of my feelings I can’t conceal.

I love them so with all my heart,

But I know that their feelings must part.

I know my feelings have no hope,

For them showing their feelings I can’t cope.

So I'll keep my lips shut and my heart safe,

For I know that love is unrequited for me to embrace.

I hate the night where i feel so

hallow inside,

i feel so damn empty and out of place

i hate the night where my mind wanders to the unknown

and all i return with is sadness

i hate countin the tears that rush down my cheeks and

collect upon my pillow ,

i hate that the only thing i have at night to comfort me is

my lonliness

and the only thing i feel surrounding me is

darkness

i hate it all
