The first time Technoblade saw you, he absently thought you were pretty. That was it. He was ready to move on with his life; there were potatoes to be harvested, gold to be melded into weapons and blood to be shed.
That was, until The Voices gasped in unison. And that was never a good sign.
TECHNO !
TECHNO LOOK AT HER !
SHE’S- SHE’S MAGNIFICENT, A GODDESS AMONGST FILTH !!!
He could already feel an headache start to bloom behind his eyes, and he sighed silently. The Voices were obnoxiously loud and his jaw hurt from grinding his teeth together. He didn’t have the time for this. The only thing keeping him rooted to the spot was the fact that… this was weird. The Voices had never acted in such a way. They clamored for blood, they made fun of him and sometimes hyped him up, but they never complimented someone else like this.
“…Can I help you?” He was struck out of his thoughts by your voice awkwardly greeting him, a bit creeped out by the fact he had been staring at you for a good five minutes without blinking. Technoblade cleared his throat as The Voices screeched incoherently.
“Nah, I’m fine.” You blinked at him, the two of you standing there in an awkward silence for a minute.
“I’ll… I’ll get going then.” You nodded once and turned around, walking away as Techno stared at your back like an idiot, trying not to bash his head in to make The Voices calm down.

Yep, he definitely had an headache.
“Chat… I’m not going to... run after her to introduce myself like a pathetic loser. That’d be creepy.” Technoblade mumbled, to which The Voices cursed loudly in his head, making him grind his teeth against the pain.
He sighed through his nose, taking a few steps towards where you had stood, just to see if you were still around, when his foot hit something in the grass. Looking down, he saw a glass phial filled with a colourful liquid. Huh. Had you dropped a potion ? Picking it up, he turned it over in his hand and thumbed at the cork, closing his eyes in annoyance as The Voices came back with a vengeance.
“Fine.” He shut them up, tired of the throb of pain coming from his brain. Techno looked down at the grass and soil and easily tracked your footsteps, following the path they led towards a nearby lake. There, you were crouching down, filling an empty glass phial with water, humming softly to yourself. The Voices loudly spoke over eachother in Techno’s brain about the wind in your hair, or the sun on your skin, or even the way you crouched.
A few steps behind you, Technoblade frowned. You were... vulnerable. You hadn’t even heard him coming up, so someone could probably very easily sneak up on you. That wouldn’t do.
“Hey.” You startled at his voice, turning around, bewildered. You relaxed slightly when your eyes took in his cape and crown.
“Oh, it’s you.” You tilted your head, looking at him curiously, making him want to shuffle on his feet, which was ridiculous. The Blood God did not shuffle his feet because he was nervous.
“Yeah…” He trailed off, making you raise an eyebrow expectantly.
“You, um… dropped this.” He thrust his hand with the phial forward, like it was cursed, making you blink at the object and making The Voices cringe in unison, crying the lack of smoothness of the infamous Technoblade.
You took the potion from his hand, your fingers brushing his and making blood rush to his cheeks, a small smile on your pretty face.
“Thank you… um…” You looked at him expectantly, making him wonder what it was you wanted, before he jolted with a realization.
“Technoblade.” You smiled and it did not make his heart skip a beat, don't be ridiculous, chat.
“Thank you, Technoblade.” You put the potion in your satchel, as well as the phial you had filled with water, and got up from your crouching position, smiling softly at the half-man half-piglin. You offered him your name, and The Voices received it like gospel, already melting into prayer to you. Your hand came up and he took it by reflex, shaking it awkwardly as you spoke.
“It’s nice to meet you.” He grunted once, taking back his hand almost violently as a weird sensation climbed up from where you touched him and up his arm.
“Yeah… you too.” He cleared his throat as you looked at him, bemused. That look, like you could see right through his eyes and into his soul, it scared him. So, The Blood God, for the first time, fled. He turned on his heel, murmuring an half-assed farewell and power-walked away, not without hearing your bright chuckle.
Coming back from an epic fight so wifey can take care of you. Guess who’s coming out of her cave to drop you guy’s this 🤭 we all need some fluff. Right?
Fun fact! (have I said this before? Ion even know) My main MC was supposed to be a lioness hybrid, not a tiger. I changed it last minute bc my friends said I reminded them of a tiger rather than any other animal. 'Though the lioness identity still haunts me to this day as it claims right for representativeness.
Also, my tigress MC is called Trouble. Mansa is the name of my lioness MC (the one I had in mind when creating this blog).
