been saying cliterally a lot lately and i think it's becoming a genuine problem

this episode was such a fucking roller coaster holy shit,, like, emma getting attacked and dana having to get involved. robby and dana's conversations throughout and how the ed is eating them both alive. mckay and roxy's blanket </3. mateo being back and encouraging javadi to join the night shift while she still hasn't even decided if she wants to stay in emergency medicine, or medicine at all. multiple people pointing out robby's personality throughout the course of the shift and how that seems like maybe he's looking for a more permanent way out. al hashimi finding out about langdon and sort of staring down the barrel of the gun knowing the ed is about to be her responsibilty. santos not wanting whitaker to leave her, but being unwilling to expose that vulnerability to him. santos taking the scalpel... guys i'm so scared

the high i got from the whitaker/santos interaction this episode is unmatched !! feeling like i could walk on a cloud or some shit
