wow, this frog loves incest!
So when cats cuddle and play close but not next to you, they're "chill" and "independent"
But when I parallel play, I'm "autistic" and "neurodivergent" ???
Smh

The magic of childhood is that you were constantly encountering new things. The best way to feel that way again is to fill your life with new experiences.

Anti-city people are just plain fascinating to me
Have these people not even seen the little cart. You don't *push* it, it rolls behind you like a little puppy dog. It has nice big wheels to go over the sidewalk bumps and then it folds up flat and slides behind the fridge or next to the stove till your next shopping trip.
(We still need some cars though. And grocery delivery. I say as a walker user who cannot pull the little cart anymore)
You cannot argue with American car/suburb lovers.
Eight bags of groceries? if you are feeding that many, you will have plenty of help to carry.
That's not fair Red and you know it, the issue is you're describing a radically different environment and yeah, every little thing has to be told because nothing is evident to people who live in food deserts and HAVE to do a weekly grocery run by filling their car's trunk and backseat with non perishable food.
What's missing from this conversation after that last answer by who I'm assuming is the American OP, is that -according to my American husband- walkable cities are way safer for kids. In a context where everyone is going run errands any day at pretty much any time of the day because it does in fact just take 15-30mn round trip, the streets are always busy. Your kids aren't gonna get snatched up like they do biking on empty county highway an hour from civilisation on any sides. It's hard to put into words just how much safer and healthier walkable cities are.

God I hate how long the wait for medical specialists are. Like yeah, I can totally wait a month and a half to see a doctor about why I've barely been able to eat for the past month. Surely I will be able to make it there yep.
New update yaaaaaay eating gives me weakness thirty minutes later YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. fuck.
