Objective #16 is DONE, baby!
Objective #8 is DONE. YES.
Objectives #3, #4, #5, and #6 are DONE.
Objective #7 is done.
Objective #17 is done and has been submitted!
Objectives #10, #11, and #14 are done! The excerpts for Objective #13 haven't been specified, so I'm crossing that one off, too.
Objectives #12 and #15 are finished!
Objectives #18, #19, and #20 are done and my students have their grades for the week!
Objective #23 is done and my clothes are clean!
Objective #22 is done!
Objective #21 is done and the bathroom is clean!
Yet another to-do list.
We're going on a field trip for Music and Heritage next week, the assignment for Selling Your Scholarship isn't too strenuous, and I have a completely free Friday that I don't normally get. This may be the week I actually pull ahead a little bit? Maybe? We hope?
Music and Heritage
1. Find some more sources. (And do some more reading.)
2. Revise my proposal. (And then send it to like three or four professors for feedback before I submit it to two conferences.)
Intro to Ethno
3. McDowell reading. (Holdover from last week since one more person needed to do their presentation.)
4. Solomon reading. (On identity in highland Bolivia.)
5. Rice reading. (On identity in ethnomusicology.)
6. Erlmann reading. (On diasporic identity.)
7. Turino reading. (Three chapters.)
8. Written response. (As per usual.)
9. Start reading ethnography. (If at all possible I'd like to get this review done this week so I don't need to worry about it right before AMS.)
Selling Your Scholarship
10. Mosley reading. (On music at Elizabeth II's funeral.)
11. Ansari reading. (On music in traumatic times.)
12. Hung reading. (Reflections on public musicology.)
13. Carson reading. (The excerpts weren't specified, so I will read them if they get posted but they won't be included in my blog post.)
14. Robin podcast. (There was a transcription, which was helpful. I'm not a big audiobook/podcast person.)
15. Geoffroy-Schwinden reading. (On the digital approach to public musicology.)
16. Blog post on public musicology. (500 words, nothing crazy.)
17. Questions for our guest speaker next week. (Who I know from the Pedagogy Study Group!)
Teaching Assistantship
18. Grading and attendance for Monday. (This would've been done earlier if not for the AWS outage.)
19. Grading and attendance for Wednesday. (As per usual.)
20. Grading and attendance for Thursday. (We didn't do an in-class activity this week, so it's really just attendance.)
Adulting
21. Clean bathroom. (I don't wanna. But I gotta.)
22. Trash. (The usual.)
23. Laundry. (Clean clothes!)
Wish me luuuuuuuuck!
Objective #22 is done at last!
Objectives #14 and #16 got done in transit yesterday.
Objective #13 is done and I gave the presentation and it went great!
Objectives #10, #11, and #12 are done, and right in the nick of time, too.
Objectives #23 and #24 are done!
