toxic juzi or something idk

doodlin
where is your straw page?
also love your art!!!!!!! ^^
P.S what is the plot of your children of the ablsulote solver au? idk what is called
thank you! :]
you can find my strawpage here: falsegodamongus.straw.page
the plot of child of absolution is pretty simple. it follows uzi, who, with the help of n and v, is trying to dismantle the cult that had spent years lying to her, and worshiping an entity that intends to kill them all in the end! :]
he won't listen

Pout
Just saw your post about the coa!au (is that what it called? I can’t remember the spelling) and was wondering whose side J will be on, both for the story and the final battle. Because it seems to me like it could easily go either way* and honestly either would be cool.
*Between Cyn’s manipulation, like if she said something along the lines of promising to erase their memories so they can be “happy” again.
Though like I said before, Uzi could also convince J to join forces with her, with something like “you’ll be free from your tormentor and can finally be happy.”
Sorry for the long ask, I tend to ramble. 😅
PS Does Tessa exist in this au?
for most of the story, she follows cyn out of fear. when n rebels, she's basically chased out of their territory, and chooses to observe from afar. she consistently reports back to cyn, believing that her obedience and helpfulness will lessen whatever punishment cyn decides to dish out.
as j observes and plays the role of a spy, she comes to realize how much happier n (and eventually v) are with uzi. it's almost reminiscent of their time in the manor, and uzi especially reminds j of a certain someone she thought was long dead ;]
by the final battle, j is reluctant to side with cyn, after having been shown glimpses of a potentially better life. but siding with uzi, eccentric and kind and kinda macabre uzi, feels like history repeating itself. j already saw what happened to someone who tried to rebel against cyn. she believes it's hopeless.
as the battle progresses, j slowly realizes there might just be a chance to break free from cyn's control. when cyn has sidelined n and v, and has uzi on the ropes, j delivers a sneaky little attack that gives uzi an opening to win
that is a very watered down version of j's story in children of absolution. it's not final, as i'm still working on j and how things go with her, but that's the ground work! hopefully that's a decent enough answer :]
also yes, tessa exists! unfortunately, she does end up a skin suit, much like in canon, which is used to further manipulate j. j and cyn have a very complex, one-sided, and toxic relationship that i would love to explore :]
weres the children of solver au HM? WERE, I WAS GONNA LOVE IT
😭
i'm realizing now that i haven't actually shared a lot of the stuff i did for children of absolution (assuming that's what you mean, anon?) here. i didn't abandon it, or forget it, i just post a lot of the art and concepts for it over on twitter instead! for ease of access, and to spare readers the pain of having to trudge through my twitter account for tidbits of information, i'll go ahead and use this ask as a sort of dump for the lore and concepts i have so far!
this might be a long post, so please, strap in! :]
children of absolution, for those who are not already familiar with it, is a murder drones au in which uzi is born and raised into a cult worshipping the solver. the cult believes that the solver is a god-like being that saved them from the clutches of humanity, and gifted them a chance at new life. in return, all they have to do is fall in line, be good little drones, and continue to worship the solver as normal.
oh, and offer monthly sacrifices to the angels! and unfortunately for uzi, being an outcasted weirdo who constantly questions their all powerful savior means she's ripe for the chopping block.
speaking of!!
this is uzi! surprising absolutely nobody, uzi is the protagonist of our au. she might not look like her usual self, and for good reason! all members of the cult are uniform in appearance, embracing the concept of a singularity.
coa!uzi is not as spunky or rebellious as the uzi we know. though embers of her are there, and the direct cause of her name being called for the monthly sacrifice, this uzi is much more reserved. she's weird, she likes to ask questions, and she's perhaps a little too curious for her own good, but she's relatively mild, and still falls in line at the end of the day.
it is her banishment, and failed sacrifice, that sparks a change in her. she is exposed to a harsh world, and quickly realizes that the cult had fed her lie after lie for years. uzi becomes disillusioned, and makes it her goal to dismantle the cult, slowly growing into herself as the story progresses. over time, uzi eventually becomes more akin to the drone that we know, slowly picking up bits and pieces of herself :]
uzi is not the only one to receive a new coat of paint, however! our beloved disassembly drones (referred to by the cult as angels, or servants of the solver) got a nice overhaul, with some lore to boot! :]
mirroring uzi's story, our murder drone trio goes through a journey of self-discovery, kicked off by uzi. not unlike uzi, n, v, and j are all puppets of cyn, to some extent, with varying levels of awareness.
n is the most entangled in cyn's web, basically a feral animal without a thought in his head. he's barely sentient, basically a dog on a leash. it's uzi who inadvertently cuts some of cyn's strings, granting n some semblance of sentience. alongside uzi, he grows into himself, and becomes more like is canon counterpart :>
v was not as lucky. she retains some sentience, though hides behind a thoughtless mask, behaving similarly to n before his awakening. she's very aware that cyn essentially digitally lobotomized n and stripped him of free thinking, and chooses to fall in line with her tail between her legs so she doesn't meet the same fate. she's afraid.
j is the most sentient of the three, and has a direct line of contact to cyn. she is tough and mean, but she does what she believes is best for n and v, even if they are hollow shells of the drones she used to know. they're all she has left of a life long gone, and she desperately clings to that. it hurts her to see what cyn had done to them, which makes her come off as cold and distant.
and that's everything i have so far, not counting smaller bits of lore that aren't entirely relevant to the story! i'm not sure if i'll end up doing anything big with it (i.e. a comic, or a fanfiction), but i enjoy coming up with ideas and sharing them with other people! :]
