I can understand why healthy multiplicity could be confusing to someone who is not a healthy multiple. I counter your confusion with my own. We’re a healthy system, and can’t fathom what it would be like to be unhealthy. We can talk to each other in order to maintain peace,…
Don’t worry about incoherency, I can pick through and I’ll answer each point individually just to keep it organized. I may be mistaken on my stance about this point. I tend to have a very stoic outlook on life (I’m the kind of person that won’t take pain pills for almost anything. Got a broken foot? No pain pills, it’ll be fine). In my life I’ve always avoided diagnosis for anything, so I likely just let my bias slip through. My apologies. I agree with you on this point. Honestly I responded more because I just wanted to say something for once, not because I think you’re invalidating everything. If I thought you were invalidating everything, I would’ve included a lot more information than just opinion and anecdotes. Ha, thanks. Believe me, it goes often through my head, “am I just faking all of this?” Sven and Nuwe, my systemmates, always validate their existence given time though, so it goes away. Unfortunately, tumblr has turned into a rather toxic environment for the plural community. Whenever I meet a new system, I try and direct them away from tumblr at first so that they can really learn about who they are. Unfortunately, tumblr is rife with misinformation and bigotry, no matter how much it tries to avoid it. Again, no need to worry about coherency. I’ll do my best to understand :) -Ethan
