OPEN STARTER Bonfires/beach side
Claudio found themselves alone, again. Asher had his own plans. Aggie, too. Ashton must have as well, since he stopped replying to texts about an hour ago. Teddy and Jack, they weren't sure where the couple was but didn't want to intrude there, either. Petronella, Tristan, Evie, Conor... They simply didn't know and didn't want to bother anyone, either. Claude put out a general status update on their socials about being on the beach with the bonfires, to enjoy the fireworks, and figured if anyone felt like it, they would show up.
They didn't plan to stay long. Maybe after this plate? They could go back to their attic and see what the fireworks looked like from their telescope or something.
With one of the grilled burgers (just the patty itself, actually) on their plate, they sat in the sand just close enough to the water. Near one of the bonfires. Picking apart the piece of meat, their eyes studied the gentle lapping waves against a beautiful, cloudless night. Plenty of stars and a half-full moon.
