Today is March 20th, 2026, and while the "epic Fury" missiles continue to rain down on Iran, let's talk about the strings being pulled back in D.C. If you want to know why our politicians are so eager to light the Middle East on fire, all you have to do is follow the trail of AIPAC blood money.

The corruption is as blatant as it is disgusting.

We are seeing an absolute betrayal of the American people by leaders who have been bought and paid for. In the last election alone, AIPAC and its affiliates funneled tens of millions of dollars into congressional races to ensure that when the time came to bomb Iran, the "bipartisan consensus" was already bought.

I mean, look at the House. When a resolution was introduced to stop Trump from escalating this unauthorized war, it was AIPAC-backed Democrats like Greg Landsman, Josh Gottheimer, and Jared Moskowitz who stepped up to block it. Landsman alone took over $350,000 from AIPAC, ten times more than any other donor.

Trump is always screaming about how we should put America first when it comes to "illegal aliens," yet he doesn't bat an eye when he starts an unjust and frankly illegal war on Iran. His administration is constantly taking orders from Netanyahu; an example includes Joe Kent resigning and alleging that Israeli misinformation campaigns pushed us into this conflict. Whether you trust Kent or not, the fact remains: our foreign policy is being dictated by a foreign lobby, not by American interests.

While 85 million Iranians are being starved and bombed, and global energy markets are spiraling towards a collapse, our politicians are patting themselves on the back. They claim this is a "democracy" but it always has been about maintaining a regional monopoly on violence.

Lindsey Graham is out here tweeting "caution" about hitting oil fields, not because he cares about the potential deaths that could come from this, but because he's absolutely scared shitless about what an influx of gas prices would do for his reelection chances.

Meanwhile, the military-industrial complex is salivating.

We are firing $2 million missiles at $35,000 drones. This isn't a strategy, this is a wealth transfer from the American taxpayer to defense contractors, gift wrapped with a nice shiny bow by the Israeli lobby.

Where is the "outrage" from the establishment? It doesn't exist, point-blank period. The reason why is because their campaigns are fueled by the same groups pushing for this carnage. They are more afraid of losing their AIPAC funding than they are of starting World War 3.

This isn't just "politics as usual." This is the systemic dismantling of our sovereignty for the sake of foreign agenda. Innocent people are being dragged into a senseless war because our leaders are too cowardly to say "no" to their donors.

These are not our representatives. They represent their donors, and their donors want war.

Tomorrow the sun will cross the celestial equator, marking the start of Nowruz (the Persian New Year). For three millennia, this has been the time of Khaneh-tekani (shaking the house), of cleaning away the dust of the old year to make room for hope...to look for the light.

But this year? The only "light" in Iran is the flash of an American-made missile hitting a power plant or the fire from an Israeli strike leveling a neighborhood. While the "liberators" in Washington D.C and Tel Aviv send out their hollow and scripted Nowruz greetings, they are systemically dismantling the very civilization that they claim to support.

You can't let the clinical military jargon fool you. "Operational Success" is a code for state-sponsored murder. They hit a girls' school, and had the nerve to call it a "technical error." That's not a mistake; it's a testament to the absolute disregard for Persian lives.

They target the gas fields and power grids, ensuring that families will sit in the freezing dark on the most sacred night of the year.

They watch from drones while the regime's "Noor Plan" thugs drag protestors into the streets to be brutally executed.

It takes a special kind of evil to escalate a bombing campaign during the nation's New Year. It's a psychological assault designed to break the spirit of 85 million people who are already being suffocated by their own government.

The injustice is so thick you can practically taste it with every incoming headline. You don't "save" people by starving them with sanctions, then blowing up their infrastructure. You don't bring democracy through the barrel of a railgun while ignoring the summary executions happening in the shadows of your own "precision" strikes.

To Trump, to Netanyahu, and to the Mullahs: you are two sides of the same blood-soaked coin. You are all gambling with lives that aren't yours to lose.

If this is your New Years gift, take it back. No one could possibly want "liberation" if it comes wrapped in a shroud.

Today is March 18th, 2026, and the world continues to watch as "Operation Epic Fury" continues to senselessly slaughter innocent people, all while calling it a true operational success. While armchair generals continue to brag about "degraded capabilities" and "7,800 targets hit", they ignore the millions of Iranians being crushed between two money-driven, power-hungry monsters that will stop at nothing to get what they want.

I mean, how dare the international community claim that they are "liberating" the Iranian people, all while bombing power grids, gas fields, and even a girl's school. Even though many statements have been put out that they "unintentionally" hit the school, that would mean the United States government would have to place blame on their faulty equipment, yet we all know that this is merely another form of brutality by Trump and Netenyahu.

The Iranian people are fighting a war on two fronts. On one side, there are foreign missiles coming in from both Israel and the United States. But on the other side, they are facing a regime that uses the chaos to escalate its own domestic terror. While the world watches the sky, the "Noor Plan" and "Revolutionary Courts" are working overtime in the shadows to hang protestors and to silence the women of their country.

Having trials that last ONLY ten minutes. Executions for "enmity against God." Massive internet blackouts to ensure no one hears the screams. This isn't a strike for democracy; this is, in all honesty, a geopolitical meat grinder.

The injustice is deafening. We are watching a civilization be dismantled in real time under the guise of "strategy." If the "success" of this war requires the starvation and silence of 85 million people, then the "liberators" are just as guilty as the oppressors.

Stop calling it collateral damage. Call it what it is. A CRIME

Hello

The New Publius started with rage, and it will end with rage. The history of the name of this site begins at the very beginning of this country's formation. Alexander Hamilton, John Jay, and James Madison wrote the "Federalist Papers" under the pseudonym Publius. These men so deeply believed in something that they wrote urging others to believe in that same idea, which was the Constitution.  These men who fought for their rights would be ashamed at the fact that these rights are being challenged today. Freedom of speech is being challenged by social media regulation and censorship regarding certain political figures. Voting rights, rights to freedom of religion, and the right to assemble are going to be taken away if we don't do something, and if we don't do it now. I'm here to write. I'm here to express my thoughts, my feelings, but most especially my rage. Anyone who wants to read may do so.
