i love when people say to pull an all nighter for insomnia so you'll fall asleep early the next night and fix/reset your sleep schedule because. a few years ago i tried that, my sleep schedule was 2-4 am to 1-2 pm (very normal for me pre copious sleep meds) and I didn't sleep for like 2 days and ended up with a sleep schedule of 8-10 am to 4-5 pm because I couldn't sleep any earlier

getting in touch with your body after a lifetime of chronic dissociation/illness/pain is always such a weird process, lately I can't stop realizing I'm allergic to things bc pain is usually a primary presentation of my allergies (and ofc I block that out by default bc it's constant). ive known I'm allergic to pets bc they make my nose stuffy and eyes & gums itchy, but apparently when I pet my dog my hand HURTS and I just never noticed despite having dogs my whole life. huh!
