all the posts for disability pride month put a smile on my face. so nice to feel seen for a minute when being severely disabled makes you feel very unseen most of the time

a letter to YouTube. if you’re censoring swears in transcripts and captions, they aren’t adequate transcripts and captions. if I can say fuck out loud but you don’t put it in my transcript you’re actively taking ableist action. just a ‘[____]’ is not telling me what is said in the video. if I cannot hear the video, how am I supposed to know what’s being said.
censorship will be the death of us all
HOORAY!!!!! HAPPY DISABILITY PRIDE MONTH!!!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!! ^_^ :D
shout-out to people with MS, we are like this fr 🤝 as someone with ME, every time I see something about MS its like. i don't understand how two incredibly complex conditions can be so similar yet different conditions. even the bullshit we've dealt with from the medical system historically. like, if im looking up a symptom to see what's causing it and something says it can be caused by MS I'm like oh ok so it's my ME
anti homeless architecture also harms disabled people
parties are not for the faint of heart.
let me rephrase
parties are not for those whose hearts make them faint.
Fun game of "Is this a dissociative episode or an absence seizure"
