How big are the Girls und Panzer city ships?

The last 30 or so seconds of this MBS video really highlights just how big the city ships are compared to just about any other seagoing vessel in fiction.

The displacement of a Nimitz class aircraft carrier is roughly 100,000 tons or 100 kilotons or .1 megaton.

So if we assume that all proportions and rough building materials are the same the Ooarai carrier would have a displacement of 9,280,000,000 tons or 9,280 megatons or 9.28 GIGATONS and take over 455 million metric tons of metal to construct.

But if you think that's insane the Pravda carrier is even crazier coming in at a displacement of 71,200,000,000 tons or 71,200 megatons or 71.2 GIGATONS and take over 3.49 BILLION tons of metals (primarily steel) to construct.

By comparison, a rough estimate of the WHOLE OF NEW YORK CITY has it consuming between 200 and 500 million metric tons of metal to build.

Imagine that, all of the metal in one of the biggest cities on earth would just barely build the Ooarai cityship and wouldn't even touch 15% of the Pravda cityship. AND THOSE ARE ONLY TWO SHIPS.

I swear if they're not mining asteroids or the fucking earth's core for metal in the GuP universe then I have no goddamn idea how they could build any of these things.
