i did really love how so much of the 3rd series was about learning to overcome self sabotage... myrna learning that she IS lovable and she IS a good person, john and lady gabby learning to break the cycles of abuse perpetuated by their parents to become better people, ben learns he sometimes has to go with his head and not his heart in order to protect himself, and rani learns she needs to take a step back and discover who she truly is otherwise she will never be truly happy...

and greg is also there (lol jk, greg learns to believe in himself and that he has worth lol)

idk... like yeh silly show about a group of misfits doing community service in bristol ha ha but like... i LOVE that the characters feel REAL and have believable story arcs

it's also really fucking funny lol

No actually the trope subversions in Outlaws. Myrna’s not a leftist activist because she “thinks she’s better/woker than everyone else” like she genuinely thinks she’s a piece of shit. Johns only right-wing because his dad is, and he’s never really questioned or challenged him. The “bad boy” archetype really just wants nothing more than a quiet, domestic life. Rani’s parents tried to protect her from everything and she ended up running a drug operation. Every character is a commentary.

Information about this Roleplay Blog and Character:

Gabby is mostly unemployeed, but spends a lot of time on social media and sometimes gets the occasional gig to bring money in, with the help of Greg (@gregory-dillard).

Gabby currently resides in flat 13 of the divorcees' apartment building that Greg lives in, with him as her roommate.

Gabby is mostly single, but will flicker between periods of having different partners and reminiscing on old ones.

Gabby is a recovering alcoholic and drug user, and is mostly clean, but has moments of weakness.

Gabby struggles with anger management, but is working on bettering herself, and rarely lets this slip online.

Pre-Season 3 content, though it may be discussed at some point.

Non-canon plotlines will be included (such as Greg and Gabby getting cats).

The Outlaws is a 15+ show, so this blog will contain 15+ content.

Multi-shipping is okay, but there will be a main theme of Platonic Gregriella.

My name's Gregory Dillard, but you can call me Greg! Not too used to all this Tumblr and Internet stuff, but Gabby asked me to join, and here I am! I'm a lawyer (though not a great one, I'll be honest), so ask away on that front, if you like. Though, uh, maybe not as much as just regular old questions about me, eh? Greg is overly insecure, especially about his lawyer-ing abilities, and tries to talk around this as much as possible.
