Trump’s America

Today I am ashamed to be an American. I encourage any of you that support Trump in any way to reconsider the way you think of this man. Try to look outside yourself and see what his words have brought out in people. This is a man who has revealed the worst in those who follow him and also those who oppose him at times. This is a man who has made racist comments into “telling it like it is” and sexual assult and rape culture into “locker room talk”. He has insulted the handicap and war veterans alike and if he would have it his way he would make America into the smog drenched industrial machine of China. I ask you, please, sit and contemplate this day in history and ask yourself if Trump’s America will make you proud to be an American.
