Trials of Apollo is about Apollo RElearning his humanity
When Crest asked what Apolloâs job was he said he was the god of music and I think that is because it is his only domain where he is solely the main god. He shares his other domains with other gods except for prophecy but he is more a guardian of the oracle rather than its god. However, after Crestâs death, if asked, heâll say him and Crest president over music
NEW OFFICIAL KAYLA ART !!!!! via readriordan's website
i love her so much
You know i love how the early books established that theres gods ( and other magical creatures) there's mortals and there's demigods who stuck in-between worlds
Therefore they are the secret 3rd thing
But then we get accustomed to demigods
AND THEN LESTER PAPADOPOULOS COMES IN
and establishing himself as « not a god not a mortal not a demigod » HE IS A SECRET FORTH THING
he's so trans coded i wanna give him a forehead kiss
Him saying he could turn into a FEMALE sloth as an example #noticing

ToA fandom it's official this is our meme now. go nuts. be free. our time has come.
I thought Trials of Apollo was fiction until we got a solar eclipse on April 8, 2024
WHY IS THIS TOTAL DRAMA CHARACTER LITERALLY LESTER
Lmaooo sweater and everything
Smth I found very interesting was how the Oracle of Delphi of today differs from how it was back then, and I think it ties into the underlying theme of controlling oneâs own fate in ToA.
In Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes, the Oracle is stated to speak with Apolloâs voice and his words only.
Hereâs the proof btw
However throughout PJO, HOO and TOA, Rachel consistently speaks in her own voice with Apollo acting as a bystander. He acts more as a guardian of the prophecy with the Pythia being the mouthpiece but ultimately he is not controlling it any longer.
Another way this is implied is when Zeus blames Apollo for what came out of the Oracleâs mouth even though Apollo stated multiple times he had no control over it. However, because he did control it at some point, Zeus decided that Apollo once again used that control, making his reasons more justifiable to the other gods.
Weâve also seen Apollo take control of his own future throughout Tower of Nero.
And yeah you could say the evidence I gave above was bullshit because Percy Jackson and the Greek Heroes is narrated by Percy who is very unreliable, something I myself pointed out in a previous post. But there was this one line in Tower of Nero that basically cemented my theory.
Rachel spoke in Pythonâs voice rather than her own when Python had control over Delphi. He was also controlling the future at this point which stands to reason that Apollo can do the same. He just doesnât.
Why? He gave a reason for that in The Burning Maze when he told Jason that nobody should be able to dictate your future other than you. There is always a loophole and nothing is ever as it seems, ultimately leaving fate up to you.
I also found Apolloâs prophecies much more cryptic compared to Pythonâs, which leaves a lot more up to debate in the former with a bunch of loopholes to be found.
I think Apollo also used to control the future until he realized that it would be immoral to control the fate of the people around him and ultimately stopped, leaving the future up to you to decide.
It took a shit ton of time to find all the evidence for this btw so nobody would think I was going crazy but when I couldnât find it for a while, I genuinely thought I was

Idk if anyone has done this yet but here are my Apollo variants!!
Open for debate! Might edit later
so real kuzco is 100% lester
but rather than a peacock I'd say he's a tiny spoiled pomeranian
Just searched up vids of Pomeranians ur so right đ I put a peacock cuz I saw this one vid of a peacock flexing its horrendously plucked feathers to a potential mate and immediately went âhey that reminds me of that Lester and Reyna scene!â Also they are all ridiculously self-absorbed creatures
I really like the little detail of Chiron usually being the one to announce a demigod once theyâve been claimed but the moment Apollo arrived in camp he took over the role so smoothly which really establishes him as the patron god for camp half blood plus he worded it exactly like Chiron so he probably taught the centaur how to do it which is so đ«đ«đ«
Yo whyâd this blow up lmaooo?
Apparently I know more âsnooty pathetic loserâ characters compared to âsnotty gremlinâ characters smh
