  Kayla closes one eye. “I’ve been listening to you, though now it sounds like crazy talk. Dark wars? Really? I might not listen to the news as much as I should, but man, I’ve never heard of anything like that. Well, I must not be from your world, cause I’ve never heard of any of that." She matches his irritation with hers. He was rubbing her any way but the right way.

(✂) Hazama hissed at her slightly without wanting to, immediately recomposing himself and standing up straight again, fixing his hat. "So then tell me, where to the hell are you from? Because there's no way I was in my world on minute, and now I'm in some alternate dimension and don't remember a thing. There's absolutely no way." There was still a frustrated strain in his voice, but it was subtle.

  "Okay, let’s see here." He said, snatching the paper out of his hands and looking through it. After a moment’s pause, he read it aloud, struggling with the pronunciation as he read through it.

(✂) Hazama chuckled at the fox's efforts at trying to pronounce the words. He watched the altar, waiting as the portal slowly started cracking open.

  She gave his question some thought before answering. "I believe so. However, it doesn’t necessarily have to be my own stockings. As long as what I am using are stockings, then I can use them as weapons. Hence my name," she explained briefly, pulling back Stripes and having it return to normal.

Hazama scratched his chin curiously. "I suppose that would explain your name now that you explain it like that..." He casually relaxed against the bench again, bringing his arms up and resting them on the upper rim of it, crossing his right leg over his left. "So tell me this... How do you think I was in one world a minute ago, but now I'm suddenly here?"

  There is a cat on the premises, but Splatter’s inside, having a nap in the master bedroom, so… “Devastating?” Victor repeated, puzzled. “I’ve always found it peaceful…then again, I’ve never been that fond of cities in the first place, so…” He shrugs. “I think largely just to have something to do. He makes projects for himself so he can have the pleasure of completing them.”

(✂) Hazama let out a soft sigh and rubbed the back of his neck. "I guess I never took a strong fondness ever since what happened to me during the Dark War in my world, which was the cause of the lower altitude areas becoming... Like this, except without buildings and people."

  Kayla puts her hands in her back pockets and tilts her head slightly at her company. “Ah, really? You’ve never heard that one before? So, you’re telling me, you only know of this particular government, not that you consider, say, another country can have a different one?”

(✂) He let out a deep sigh. "Were you not listening to me? The entire world on lower altitudes was destroyed by the Dark War. Ever since then, the Hierarchical cities were created and they all follow the government of the NOL. If you're not from this world, then don't question me." There was clear irritation in his voice.

  She giggled softly as his guess. "No. I don’t use my stocking like that. Here; I will show you what I mean by using our clothing as weapons." She then pulled her right stocking off her leg, letting it transform into her signature katana Stripes I. She held it in front of the sitting man for him to inspect.

"This is my sword Stripes. This baby cuts through Ghosts like they are nothing, and can send multiple slashes in a single second~" she said proudly.

(✂) He leaned over to get a better look at the weapon she was holding. He made sure to avoid touching it just in case things went the wrong way, considering what he is. "Does it only work when you hold it?" He looked up at her slightly, making sure he can still see the sword in the corner of his eye.

  "Sounds reasonable enough to me," Victor agrees, heading in the direction of his house. The "neighborhood" where he lives is just a few minutes from the front gates, and his house — a brick two-story — just a minute or two further on. A grey and white husky is out in the front yard, gnawing a bone. He stops and looks up as he sees the two approaching. People! He jumps to his feet and goes to greet his master, tail wagging. "Bayard! This is my dog," he says as Bayard licks his hand. "Good boy."

(✂) Hazama raises a brow at the dog before him. Well at least it's not a cat... He let out a soft sigh and turned his gaze to look at the building this man lived in. "So why did your friend build a neighborhood in a place like this? It looks so... devastating..."

((I'm so sorry for how late I've been lately.))

This entire week is extremely busy because it's my last week of summer and I still have work to do. And plus I've had a friend over and will probably have more people over at some point since it is the last week, but yeah I'm really sorry.

  It had been just a normal day for him. Getting things he’d need for the things he’d be working on. Though he was caughed off guard by something or more so someone bumping into him, Maybe he would have yelled, but he didn’t care enough. ” It’s fine….this is Tokyo, Japan.” What was with this person, really who wouldn’t know this.

(✂) Hazama raised a curious brow. This place hasn't been around for years... Why is it here now? "Are you sure about that? There's no possible way we could be here considering what happened after the Dark War."

  Kayla shrugged. “Yeah, well, seems I didn’t pay any attention, but I still don’t mind too much, you see.” She nods. “Ah, so I’m in this city called Kagutsuchi. Either way, while you assume I don’t remember anything, there’s that other possibility that I’m not from a place that has your government? Ever think of that one?”

(✂) He quietly thought to himself when she spoke the words and looked down slightly, resting the side of his finger on his chin. "I suppose it's possible, but it's something I've never seen or heard happen before."

  "Really? That is a problem," Victor says with a frown. "Hopefully your memory will come back to you…either that or we can investigate near where we met and see if there’s any spots that suddenly put us where you come from."

As to where Victor comes from, the forest opens up onto a blocky walled miniature city, complete with houses and a few little skyscrapers. Victor leads him up to the main gate, which is opened by a pressure plate set into the ground before them. “Well, this is where I live. My actual house is in a neighborhood a little ways inside.”

(✂) "Well let's go ahead and visit there for starters, shall we?" He gave a soft smile, starting to follow at his side. "After that we can probably go ahead and go back, try to figure something out or come back to your place and try again tomorrow."

  The angel simply shrugged. "Beats me. And we don’t seem to be the only ones. The priest is named Garterbelt, and some geekboy that is obsessed with Panty is named Brief," she said, actually remembering Brief’s name rather than calling him by her usually nickname for him. "But it fits for the four of us as we use… Well, our clothing as weapons," she explained.

(✂) He raised a confused brow at her. "What do you mean you use your clothing for weapons?" He chuckled to himself slightly as he thought about it. "Do you walk up to them and choke them with your stocking or something?"

  "Hehee~ Great!" He said, continuing to follow behind him, getting antsy and just wanting to get home. Hopefully he'd be able to get this man to help him with his 'chores' that he needed to do.

(✂) He let out a gentle sigh when they finally arrived at the altar. "Now stand facing the altar and recite this so that the gate will open." He handed him the file and pointed to the passage he needed to read.

  "I’m afraid that’s classified information that I can’t tell you" He fixed his classes pinching the bridge of his nose.

(✂) He raised a curious brow. "Classified information about who hurt you? That doesn't make much sense but I guess I'll go along with it..." He let out a soft sigh and leaned back, looking Carl over to make sure his injuries were going to be okay.

I’ve been busy and tired and have mostly been on my main blog whenever I had a chance to get on. I really apologize and I’m going to try and reply as often as I can this week but it’s my last weeks of summer so I don’t know how often that will be. If you guys ever need ANYTHING from me, just message me on my main and I should answer asap.

  "So far only two that we know of," she sighed as she placed her hands on her hips, her emerald hues meeting with one of his golden eyes. A curious eye color for a human, she thought to herself, but didn’t think much of it. "They’re basically out to get us at this point. They’re also sisters. Names are Scanty and Kneesocks," she explained briefly.
