Why is it that now, as he lies recovering in a coma, dies it seem as though the island acts that it cannot go on without him? Why is it that every person I talk to only asks after Jones, how he is faring, when he will get better? Why is he now considered so important?

They did crazy things like blow up the Death Star!!! They called on 100+ realities to usurp the Demon King!!

Do you understand the craziness this guy was able to create just with sheer hero complex and bad quips? Could you imagine how powerful we'd be if the Seven were all here? If we were all one team?

I think you may be missing a piece. Yes Jones has accomplished much. And he seems to be the axis upon which this team turns. But in every victory, he has not been alone.

It has been her and him. Together. Every time. The only failure he has had was when he was seperated from her, and they operated independently.

*Everytime he's talk to AMIE about Paradigm she'd seem to become skittish, and not in the jealous way he as used to see, she seemed...odd.

Of course asking her was getting him nowhere so the only thing Scientist could do was go to the only man who needed to do something different than bickering with the impersonification of the ice build-up in their freezer.*

AMIE and I can't find anything on Origin's whereabouts and for some reason she won't tell me Paradigm's. I know you are...skeptical about her but I was hoping you'd know how to grab at least the smallest info.

I'm sorry, Scientist. Truly, deeply sorry. I didn't always agree with her... didn't always approve of her actions. But she was one of us, a true member of the Seven...

*Her last words. Before she had done the only thing that had permitted them all to be still alive, to have a home. She had sacrificed herself to that Reality itself, gave her own essence to bind water and stone once more. To give Loopers what The Last Reality had taken from them.

Scientist let his visor retract away from his head, lowering it as he sighed deeply, a few tears trickling onto the tablet's display.*

She always loved Reality and its inhabitants...she would have done everything to see it thrive with life forever...

And that's exactly what she did in the end. Gave her own life to Reality, so that it could live on...

*A sniffle escaped his nostrils as he raised his head to the ceiling, tears flowing freely now.*

I think you understand why I loved that woman and still do. A true angel sent from Heaven and gifted to the Seven...at least somewhere around the Omniverse her essence lives on...

*Her last words. Before she had done the only thing that had permitted them all to be still alive, to have a home. She had sacrificed herself to that Reality itself, gave her own essence to bind water and stone once more. To give Loopers what The Last Reality had taken from them.

Scientist let his visor retract away from his head, lowering it as he sighed deeply, a few tears trickling onto the tablet's display.*

She always loved Reality and its inhabitants...she would have done everything to see it thrive with life forever...

And that's exactly what she did in the end. Gave her own life to Reality, so that it could live on...

*A sniffle escaped his nostrils as he raised his head to the ceiling, tears flowing freely now.*

I think you understand why I loved that woman and still do. A true angel sent from Heaven and gifted to the Seven...at least somewhere around the Omniverse her essence lives on...

[The portal to Jones' old reality was complete, but no matter how good he or A.M.I.E. were, they were not medical professionals up to date on Jones' and Evie's physical health. Nor should they be, as that was private information. But they did have a professional on board, and the Visitor knew he could be trusted implicitly.

Carrying the data from the portal with him, hoping to make sure the two would suffer no ill effects, the Visitor ascended the stairs to the medbay, only to be confronted with a scene straight out of a horror movie. Triage was bleeding, and was staring at his hands in what appeared to be shock. Vengeance Jones had apparently been thrown across the room, and was slumped unconscious against the far wall.

Data forgotten, the Visitor rushed to Triage, a sick feeling suddenly gripping his stomach.]

Triage! What the hell happened?!

[Not him. Of all people, not him... The Visitor desperately searched for the source of the bleeding.]

Come on, Triage, say something!

*Triage kept staring at his hands, his mind rushing with thoughts. Had he been too harsh on Venge? Had he accidentally say something wrong? But most importantly...what had he done to him!? Where did that shock come from!?

The sudden, desperate modulated voice reaching his hear made the medic jump, quickly turning to face the Visitor, his ears ignoring a small electric buzz escaping in the air.*

Vis- I- Gosh you're here! Someone's here-! I-I-...

*He looked down at his own body, trying to make sense of all the injuries, before looking back at Vengeance.*

Vengeance he-he broke! His mind broke! And he-he was scared so I tried to reassure him but idk what I did wrong and he suddenly-!!

*Shut it. Too quick. Too vague. It would freak Visitor out more than what the scene was clearly doing. The medic put his hands over his face, taking a deep breath.*

Just...please help me see if he's okay...I'll explain it while we work this out...

[Found it. A bite mark. A very bad bite mark.]

Scanning... Scan complete. Severe damage to forearm, marks corresponding to human teeth present. Signs of a struggle are present. Victim: Julien Jones, seemingly in extreme shock. I can provide you with the standard emergency treatment, Visitor.

[The ensuing flood of information distracted the Visitor just enough to not give in to nausea. Almost enough to not notice the strange interference in his helmet's interface. Concentrating, he shook his head, scooping the medic up and heading to the closest bed.]

Sit. I'll make sure he's not dead, at least. But then you're getting patched up. And you're not going to fight me on it.

[His tone brooked no argument. With that settled, the Visitor approached the limp body of Vengeance, his visor informing him that the man was breathing before he could take a pulse.]

Broken... Why?... I-... That never happened before...

You are referring to before you traveled back?

... Yeah.

Diverging events are to be expected, but a mind break out of the blue is statistically unlikely. I will run an analysis.

[He wasn't too injured, certainly not as much as Triage. The medic took priority. The Visitor moved to collect the implements his visor HUD listed.]

Take some deep breaths, and try to tell me what happened.

[The modulator sounded much calmer than he actually was...]

*Triage sat on the bed, obviously not putting up a fight to what Visitor demanded.*

Don't worry...you don't have to fear about me rejecting treatment.

*He looked at the floor, trying to set his thoughts in order again, before taking a deep breath, hissing at a few scratches stretching along his skin.*

Vengeance. He has a mechanism in mind. When something badly traumatic happens or he thinks will happen, his mind tries to makie him cope by putting away every memory of what's related to that traumatic memory...but when it happens...he fights it and well...you can see the result yourself...

*One of his hands moved forward, gesturing to Vengeance's massive form on the floor*

He doesn't remember any of us, or anything about this place...for some reason we don't know...he disappeared for a few days and someone had to bring him home when he was already broken...

*His eyes wandered to the severe bite mark, which still bled freely.*

He's volatile, scared...I was cleaning some tools and he thought I wanted to do something on him, I tried to reassure him...he wouldn't listen and...

*His hands went back to his face, as if to choke a fresh sting in his eyes that was threatening to make him spill tears.*

He tried to kill me, Vis. He tried to fucking kill me.

The Visitor gripped an IV drip stand for support, trying not to visibly wobble as Triage explained what he knew so well.

Triage almost died... Vengeance tried to kill him... This was all so wrong. He'd never snapped like this...

Clean the wound. Disinfect. Pretend your hands aren't shaking. Stop the bleeding. Breathe. Bind the wound. Stop. Stop...

His body ignored him, one arm circling the medic gently, a sheltering embrace. He'd never been the shelter before...]

I'm sorry... I-I don't know exactly what's... gotten into me...

You are exhibiting an unusually heightened amount of emotion under duress, Visitor.

Shut the hell up...

[Was it an apology for this incident? Or a little bit of repayment for everything the medic had done for him, whether or not he remembered?

Whatever it was, the Visitor forced himself to let go, trying to move past it and pick up Vengeance, laying him out on a table.]

He seems to be a little concussed, not much else...

*He watched as Visitor tended to his wound with a skill that didn't feel like the man had studied to possess, but rather like something he had learned by observing. No matter what the process of acknowledgement was, Triage couldn't help but admire the man's working hands.*

You have a great hand at this. I suppose you are the first aid man for the Seven? They must be in good care with you.

*The arm that circled him into an embrace was definetely a surprise for the medic, considering he had never seen Visitor initiating such close contact, but honestly, that embrace was doing wonders for Triage, grounding him again as he repayed the hug, his mind finally setting in place again, now realizing a soft trembling coming from Visitor's body. He spoke softly hoping the other man could calm down.*

Hey...it's okay, you can do this with me. I don't mind it.

*He then stood up once Visitor had placed Vengeance on the table, the big man's calm, sleeping face being the whole opposite of the full rage and hatred that reddened his eyes and creased his face during the fight.

He wished to say this wasn't him, but that'd be a lie. A bad lie. For everyone. This wasn't a demonic guest, or the result of a vile galactic manipulation...This was Vengeance Jones. Pure, Unfiltered, Malicious Vengeance Jones. This was the man's true nature, and a mind break could always make it surface again, the monster Vengeance was so afraid of showing, finally making its way out in a moment of low guard. And that monster was no other than Vengeance himself. Nobody could deny it. No matter how much they all loved him, he was still capable of turning against them. And bring them harm.

Triage softly caressed Vengeance's hair as he laid limp on the table, barely fitting. The medic's soft smile he had ever since Visitor's hug now becoming a little bitter.*

At last you show me your true colors, eh Vengeance?

*It wasn't a statement said with anger or sadness, just worry, and a small amount of guilt deep in his chest. If only he had been there with him when he needed him most.

A sigh escaped his chest as he looked at Visitor, his hand not leaving Venge's head*

If he attacked me, he'll attack everyone here, You, the other Seven, everyone who's at the Blimp at the moment...we're clearly not safe with him around.

We have to find a way to bring him somewhere where he doesn't feel the need to fight. Somewhere where's he feels out of danger...

Blindly slamming the door of the cabinet he'd been rifling through, the Visitor held up the more effective restraints he knew the medic kept on hand. His voice modulated a flat tone.]

I can restrain him while your Commander decides what to do with him. He'll likely go feral over it, but it's better than letting him run rampant. Certainly better than you getting yourself killed.

[Killed over a lost cause like this... He couldn't let that happen.]

*He eyed the restraints, normally he'd be against using them on a patient, but this situation had touched rock bottom, either they took away the ability to attack from Vengeance...

Or he would have taken their organs out of their bodies.*

I can help you set the restraints on while he's unconscious, but we must be as quick as possible, if he wakes up and sees you holding them he will put up an even worse fight. Then, if Jones is available, we'll explain what happened and the gravity of the situation. I'm sure he'll come up with something.

*he almost wanted to add the adjective "ethical", but stopped himself from accidental...morally gray implications. He shook his head, eyeing Vengeance again, the man's chest rising and falling with his breath.*

Cmon, we probably don't have much time, we can either strap him to the table itself or just restrain his limbs...mouth too if you find it necessary.

[His voice was stern. He would accept no assistance from the injured medic.

The Visitor knew well how these restraints operated.

Almost mechanically, he strapped the massive body of Vengeance down, grateful that he seemed to be unconscious still. This would be much more difficult if he were awake. Taking the opportunity, he also applied some basic first aid from his own medpack to the small cuts and bruises the larger man had sustained.

Now a different question remained. The Visitor surveyed the damage to the medbay as he pinged Jones.

Signs of a struggle, obviously. The usual. Scattered tools, a sheet, gurneys in disarray. What raised questions were the odd singe marks where he had found Triage, and the clear impact point Vengeance had left on the opposite wall.

Triage was strong, but he wasn't that strong.]

... How did he end up over there?...

*Triage sat by his desk, watching Visitor strap Vengeance down, he could spot a small twitch of the larger man's hand, but he remained out cold, a rather strange but fortunate thing.

When Visitor raised the question however, Triage's eyes dropped back down to his hands, watching them, and noticing the static feeling again*

During the fight, he knocked me down and tried to stab me with a scalpel, I tried to hold him back as much as possible, because no talking was doing the trick...

Then...all of a sudden, something happened to my body...but for being in the middle of a life or death situation it was all too much, too sudden. I couldn't really perceive much except Venge screaming really loudly before hearing his impact with the wall. And that's when he went out cold.

Ever since, I feel like my arms are...static...but I can't understand what it is...

*Triage's head recoiled back in confusion, staring first at his hands and then at Visitor's visor*

*Triage stood up again approaching Vengeance, staring closely at his body. The micro-injuries that peeked from under his clothes seemed to be a much more attenuated version of the ones he had found on his body after Evie had brought him back from the Death Star...and he was also attacked with electricity...*

*As he extended an hand to try and touch the restrained giant's injuries, he suddenly felt the static become heavier, before a small shock escaped his hand, causing Vengeance's body to jerk and Triage to recoil back with a gasp.*

I have powers.

*He turned to Visitor with a face of pure bewilderment and confusion*

I have powers! I defended myself with powers!

*He put his hands in his hair, walking around*

This is crazy...! I never had this thing...! Why am I only finding out about it now...!?

*He stared at Vengeance, the twitch in his hand returned, and Triage frowned, but he wasn't the issue now.*

I have to understand how I got this, there's too many types of people who have electrical powers...mainly people like Gods and Demi-gods of Thunder and Force Users...I technically have been in contact with both.

*He was both Zeus' husband and Evie's medical professional, what were the chances that one of their powers was...contagious...?*

[The Visitor spread his hands helplessly.]

I have no explanation. I can rule out your contact with Evie, though. Force powers are not catching. At least I can tell you what it is not.

[He watched the medic pace back and forth, worried about the bite, but glad that it at least wasn't on his leg. Walking shouldn't do any harm...]

*Triage stopped. He knew him and Scientist were on similar fields, and Scientist was more than able at problem-solving, perhaps he could understand all of this.*

[The Visitor was silent, thanking his visor for hiding his expression now more than ever as he looked down at the floor.]

[His voice was softer than anticipated...

"Safe" wasn't a word that could rightfully apply to Venge at this moment. Still, at least the Visitor could make sure that Venge wouldn't hurt the people he cared about.

Which of them that "he" referred to was a different headache altogether...]

[Jones must be tied up with prep. Best not to interrupt again.]

*When Visitor said "Stat"...it had to be stat. Point blank. So it didn't take long for the second big guy of the Seven to pass through the doors of the medbay, the lights of his visor transforming into two dots that mimicked surprised eyes.

Visitor and Triage looked like they had watched a horror movie that said "Inspired by a true story" at the end, but what was worse was the massive semi-truck of Vengeance strapped down onto a table unconscious. The medbay itself was also a mess.*

Either we are roleplaying as IO scientists or something worse happened.

Judging by everything it's the latter.

*He raised his gaze to the medic's face, running a quick scan to gather all info

[Not him. Of all people, not him... The Visitor desperately searched for the source of the bleeding.]

Come on, Triage, say something!

*Triage kept staring at his hands, his mind rushing with thoughts. Had he been too harsh on Venge? Had he accidentally say something wrong? But most importantly...what had he done to him!? Where did that shock come from!?

The sudden, desperate modulated voice reaching his hear made the medic jump, quickly turning to face the Visitor, his ears ignoring a small electric buzz escaping in the air.*

Vis- I- Gosh you're here! Someone's here-! I-I-...

*He looked down at his own body, trying to make sense of all the injuries, before looking back at Vengeance.*

Vengeance he-he broke! His mind broke! And he-he was scared so I tried to reassure him but idk what I did wrong and he suddenly-!!

*Shut it. Too quick. Too vague. It would freak Visitor out more than what the scene was clearly doing. The medic put his hands over his face, taking a deep breath.*

Just...please help me see if he's okay...I'll explain it while we work this out...

[Found it. A bite mark. A very bad bite mark.]

Scanning... Scan complete. Severe damage to forearm, marks corresponding to human teeth present. Signs of a struggle are present. Victim: Julien Jones, seemingly in extreme shock. I can provide you with the standard emergency treatment, Visitor.

[The ensuing flood of information distracted the Visitor just enough to not give in to nausea. Almost enough to not notice the strange interference in his helmet's interface. Concentrating, he shook his head, scooping the medic up and heading to the closest bed.]

Sit. I'll make sure he's not dead, at least. But then you're getting patched up. And you're not going to fight me on it.

[His tone brooked no argument. With that settled, the Visitor approached the limp body of Vengeance, his visor informing him that the man was breathing before he could take a pulse.]

Broken... Why?... I-... That never happened before...

You are referring to before you traveled back?

... Yeah.

Diverging events are to be expected, but a mind break out of the blue is statistically unlikely. I will run an analysis.

[He wasn't too injured, certainly not as much as Triage. The medic took priority. The Visitor moved to collect the implements his visor HUD listed.]

Take some deep breaths, and try to tell me what happened.

[The modulator sounded much calmer than he actually was...]

*Triage sat on the bed, obviously not putting up a fight to what Visitor demanded.*

Don't worry...you don't have to fear about me rejecting treatment.

*He looked at the floor, trying to set his thoughts in order again, before taking a deep breath, hissing at a few scratches stretching along his skin.*

Vengeance. He has a mechanism in mind. When something badly traumatic happens or he thinks will happen, his mind tries to makie him cope by putting away every memory of what's related to that traumatic memory...but when it happens...he fights it and well...you can see the result yourself...

*One of his hands moved forward, gesturing to Vengeance's massive form on the floor*

He doesn't remember any of us, or anything about this place...for some reason we don't know...he disappeared for a few days and someone had to bring him home when he was already broken...

*His eyes wandered to the severe bite mark, which still bled freely.*

He's volatile, scared...I was cleaning some tools and he thought I wanted to do something on him, I tried to reassure him...he wouldn't listen and...

*His hands went back to his face, as if to choke a fresh sting in his eyes that was threatening to make him spill tears.*

He tried to kill me, Vis. He tried to fucking kill me.

The Visitor gripped an IV drip stand for support, trying not to visibly wobble as Triage explained what he knew so well.

Triage almost died... Vengeance tried to kill him... This was all so wrong. He'd never snapped like this...

Focus. Triage needs help. You have to help him.

Clean the wound. Disinfect. Pretend your hands aren't shaking. Stop the bleeding. Breathe. Bind the wound. Stop. Stop...

His body ignored him, one arm circling the medic gently, a sheltering embrace. He'd never been the shelter before...]

I'm sorry... I-I don't know exactly what's... gotten into me...

You are exhibiting an unusually heightened amount of emotion under duress, Visitor.

Shut the hell up...

[Was it an apology for this incident? Or a little bit of repayment for everything the medic had done for him, whether or not he remembered?

Whatever it was, the Visitor forced himself to let go, trying to move past it and pick up Vengeance, laying him out on a table.]

He seems to be a little concussed, not much else...

*He watched as Visitor tended to his wound with a skill that didn't feel like the man had studied to possess, but rather like something he had learned by observing. No matter what the process of acknowledgement was, Triage couldn't help but admire the man's working hands.*

You have a great hand at this. I suppose you are the first aid man for the Seven? They must be in good care with you.

*The arm that circled him into an embrace was definetely a surprise for the medic, considering he had never seen Visitor initiating such close contact, but honestly, that embrace was doing wonders for Triage, grounding him again as he repayed the hug, his mind finally setting in place again, now realizing a soft trembling coming from Visitor's body. He spoke softly hoping the other man could calm down.*

Hey...it's okay, you can do this with me. I don't mind it.

*He then stood up once Visitor had placed Vengeance on the table, the big man's calm, sleeping face being the whole opposite of the full rage and hatred that reddened his eyes and creased his face during the fight.

He wished to say this wasn't him, but that'd be a lie. A bad lie. For everyone. This wasn't a demonic guest, or the result of a vile galactic manipulation...This was Vengeance Jones. Pure, Unfiltered, Malicious Vengeance Jones. This was the man's true nature, and a mind break could always make it surface again, the monster Vengeance was so afraid of showing, finally making its way out in a moment of low guard. And that monster was no other than Vengeance himself. Nobody could deny it. No matter how much they all loved him, he was still capable of turning against them. And bring them harm.

Triage softly caressed Vengeance's hair as he laid limp on the table, barely fitting. The medic's soft smile he had ever since Visitor's hug now becoming a little bitter.*

At last you show me your true colors, eh Vengeance?

*It wasn't a statement said with anger or sadness, just worry, and a small amount of guilt deep in his chest. If only he had been there with him when he needed him most.

A sigh escaped his chest as he looked at Visitor, his hand not leaving Venge's head*

If he attacked me, he'll attack everyone here, You, the other Seven, everyone who's at the Blimp at the moment...we're clearly not safe with him around.

We have to find a way to bring him somewhere where he doesn't feel the need to fight. Somewhere where's he feels out of danger...

Blindly slamming the door of the cabinet he'd been rifling through, the Visitor held up the more effective restraints he knew the medic kept on hand. His voice modulated a flat tone.]

I can restrain him while your Commander decides what to do with him. He'll likely go feral over it, but it's better than letting him run rampant. Certainly better than you getting yourself killed.

[Killed over a lost cause like this... He couldn't let that happen.]

*He eyed the restraints, normally he'd be against using them on a patient, but this situation had touched rock bottom, either they took away the ability to attack from Vengeance...

Or he would have taken their organs out of their bodies.*

I can help you set the restraints on while he's unconscious, but we must be as quick as possible, if he wakes up and sees you holding them he will put up an even worse fight. Then, if Jones is available, we'll explain what happened and the gravity of the situation. I'm sure he'll come up with something.

*he almost wanted to add the adjective "ethical", but stopped himself from accidental...morally gray implications. He shook his head, eyeing Vengeance again, the man's chest rising and falling with his breath.*

Cmon, we probably don't have much time, we can either strap him to the table itself or just restrain his limbs...mouth too if you find it necessary.

[His voice was stern. He would accept no assistance from the injured medic.

The Visitor knew well how these restraints operated.

Almost mechanically, he strapped the massive body of Vengeance down, grateful that he seemed to be unconscious still. This would be much more difficult if he were awake. Taking the opportunity, he also applied some basic first aid from his own medpack to the small cuts and bruises the larger man had sustained.

Now a different question remained. The Visitor surveyed the damage to the medbay as he pinged Jones.

Signs of a struggle, obviously. The usual. Scattered tools, a sheet, gurneys in disarray. What raised questions were the odd singe marks where he had found Triage, and the clear impact point Vengeance had left on the opposite wall.

Triage was strong, but he wasn't that strong.]

... How did he end up over there?...

*Triage sat by his desk, watching Visitor strap Vengeance down, he could spot a small twitch of the larger man's hand, but he remained out cold, a rather strange but fortunate thing.

When Visitor raised the question however, Triage's eyes dropped back down to his hands, watching them, and noticing the static feeling again*

During the fight, he knocked me down and tried to stab me with a scalpel, I tried to hold him back as much as possible, because no talking was doing the trick...

Then...all of a sudden, something happened to my body...but for being in the middle of a life or death situation it was all too much, too sudden. I couldn't really perceive much except Venge screaming really loudly before hearing his impact with the wall. And that's when he went out cold.

Ever since, I feel like my arms are...static...but I can't understand what it is...

*Triage's head recoiled back in confusion, staring first at his hands and then at Visitor's visor*

What!? Tazed!? Electric power!? Hold on-

*Triage stood up again approaching Vengeance, staring closely at his body. The micro-injuries that peeked from under his clothes seemed to be a much more attenuated version of the ones he had found on his body after Evie had brought him back from the Death Star...and he was also attacked with electricity...*

*As he extended an hand to try and touch the restrained giant's injuries, he suddenly felt the static become heavier, before a small shock escaped his hand, causing Vengeance's body to jerk and Triage to recoil back with a gasp.*

I have powers.

*He turned to Visitor with a face of pure bewilderment and confusion*

I have powers! I defended myself with powers!

*He put his hands in his hair, walking around*

This is crazy...! I never had this thing...! Why am I only finding out about it now...!?

*He stared at Vengeance, the twitch in his hand returned, and Triage frowned, but he wasn't the issue now.*

I have to understand how I got this, there's too many types of people who have electrical powers...mainly people like Gods and Demi-gods of Thunder and Force Users...I technically have been in contact with both.

*He was both Zeus' husband and Evie's medical professional, what were the chances that one of their powers was...contagious...?*

I have no explanation. I can rule out your contact with Evie, though. Force powers are not catching. At least I can tell you what it is not.

[He watched the medic pace back and forth, worried about the bite, but glad that it at least wasn't on his leg. Walking shouldn't do any harm...]

*Triage stopped. He knew him and Scientist were on similar fields, and Scientist was more than able at problem-solving, perhaps he could understand all of this.*

[The Visitor was silent, thanking his visor for hiding his expression now more than ever as he looked down at the floor.]

[His voice was softer than anticipated...

"Safe" wasn't a word that could rightfully apply to Venge at this moment. Still, at least the Visitor could make sure that Venge wouldn't hurt the people he cared about.

Which of them that "he" referred to was a different headache altogether...]

[Jones must be tied up with prep. Best not to interrupt again.]

*When Visitor said "Stat"...it had to be stat. Point blank. So it didn't take long for the second big guy of the Seven to pass through the doors of the medbay, the lights of his visor transforming into two dots that mimicked surprised eyes.

Visitor and Triage looked like they had watched a horror movie that said "Inspired by a true story" at the end, but what was worse was the massive semi-truck of Vengeance strapped down onto a table unconscious. The medbay itself was also a mess.*

Either we are roleplaying as IO scientists or something worse happened.

Judging by everything it's the latter.

[The Visitor winced at that particular joke. The Scientist was largely unserious at the best of times, but that comment struck a nerve.]

*He raised his gaze to the medic's face, running a quick scan to gather all info
