before anyone starts, yes i love selene, yvonne, and esfir. what selene did to them wasn't the best, but she did what she had to do to succeed— AND survive. yvonne and esfir needed selene to push them so they could be the characters they are now.
and no— she isn't an abuser. hate all you want. lol.
coming back just to defend selene is crazzzzyyyy… the only good thing she did was break up esvonne and create another amalgarose moment. do you even ship kazimir and jean cuz they have more chemistry than esvonne UGH nobody understands morterum ships like i do
you are back to harass me off the internet again when i just came back. she came back and set the main cast right, so they will actually do something worthwhile lol.
why would i ship kazimir and jean— the only interesting thing about their relationship is their haunted pasts. i don't find jean all that interesting since he denounced the vasveilic faith— and seems to not struggle at all with magic, or morals. he is a weak character, and kazimir should be with bonnet— hassan failed to keep claude; his character arc is clearly headed to representing him as a broken man, alongside his country that will fall when saint lucille gets revived. (by selene. this is so obviously hinted towards, if you don't see it, i don't know what to say to you. selene x lucille is endgame).
yvonne and esfir are "peak", they have such a deep trauma bond that they could never heal enough to be with anyone else. they need each other— they hate one another and love it.
as for your understanding of morterum as a piece of media... i don't have to say— obviously.
this post is worth 11 fingers
