I don’t think I’ll ever understand the idea of beauty standards.

It’s such a- unusual thing. Why do we have molds people should fit it? Why do we see people as objects that have to be prefect? Why does beauty have to be thin, or white, or athletic?

Why does beauty have to be put into some premade mold? A mold made by people with thousands of followers who worship the ground they walk on! Why does the idea of beauty and ugly even exist?

Beauty is subjective. No two people have the same preferences.

What even defines beauty? Is beauty a personality that makes everyone around them beam with joy? Is beauty a pretty girl in a pretty dress? Is beauty poetry, that was careful written?

Beauty can be so many things. And for everything people agree that not everyone has the same taste- but when it comes to how someone look’s suddenly it’s not the clear. Beauty is such a complicated thing. No one views beauty as the same thing.

If you asked a guy to my left what he thought of me, he might say he thinks I was craved out of the findest gems, a beauty only the greatest artists could make. The guy next to him might see me as a stick in the mud. The next might think I’m alright.

Beauty is such a subjective thing. Everyone has a different definition of beauty. Beauty is so complicated and so wonderfully complex and- it pains me when people are spoken about negatively. Beauty is so much more than just simple things.
