[The moon shines of Leo’s face as he lies in his bed, wide awake and restless despite it being the middle of the night. His parents in the next room over were having a loud conversation, not helping the paper thin walls in its feeble attempt to muffle their voices. The conversation had far gone from being sensible, the points being lost in random shit talking and insults. The topic of their senseless conversation shifted to magic users, and the topic of Leo and his sister somehow became apparent. One sentence strikes its way straight to Leo’s core.]
