Hii I’m back!!! I’ve revamped a lot of blogs recently so I decided to pop back in and rework this blog as well! My other blogs are @theloosecannon @the-primadonna & @kdagang if you guys didn't know already//

Gives Taliyah a rock. ".. Do you like rocks as much as me?"

☀—The girls eyes lit up as the person before her gifted her a rock. “Ooh, yes! I love rocks! They’re so unique, and come in many shapes and sizes!”Pausing for a moment, an idea struck her. She dug around in her pocket for a few moments before retrieving a beautifully polished stone, handing it to the other. It was a very lovely shade of red-brown, a rock she had brought with her from Shurima. “It’s only fair to give you one of mine since you’ve gifted me with this!” She smiled warmly, admiring the rock in her hand.

Pit smiled. Hell yea, someone was happy to get a rock? He finally founds someone who liked rocks just as much as him. He then noticed she was trying to give him something in return. That was when he saw the stone she had. His eyes widened like hers and then he let out a happy sound. “Such a beautiful Shuriman stone! .. I feel.. A power from this stone..” He observed it a bit before looking at her. “It’s yours.. Say.. Are you.. A geomancer too?”

☀ — Taliyah’s golden eyes lit up with excitement and curiosity at the other’s observation. He said too! D-Does that mean..? “Y-You’re a geomancer?” She said in a near whisper, in awe. “I’ve never met anyone like me before- I knew The Great Weaver must have given someone else a power like mine!”

“Great Weaver? Do you mean Runeterra? Cause that’s how I was bestowed my magic.” He smiled as he began to make the rock float in his hand. Before it soon enough turned into a small statue of her. He did it to show off his powers to her. In case she didn’t truly believe it.

“well.. Are you a master like me? I would love to talk about teaching strategies. I don’t have any students yet, but I really would like to know how to entice some people to become my student.”

☀ — Taliyah watched in awe at the others skill, not fully processing his question at first.

“What..? Oh, no I’m not- not at all actually! I’m still trying my best to learn my power- I can kind of control it now compared to a few years ago, but I am no master!”

She tilted her head, thinking for a moment.

“I suppose I could be a student of yours if you are willing! I’ve had a teacher before, but we’ve had to part ways, for we wearing headed in the same direction..”

☀—Taliyah peered up at the other, her eyes widening. That hair- those eyes.. what the woman had said seemed to appear to be true, but.. how was such a thing possible?

“W-What..?”

Kengou sighed, standing on the cusp of the sand dune. "And you're following me why?" He looked back, his eyes narrowing at the girl behind him - though she couldn't see it behind his goggles.

☀— Taliyah blinked at the mans words, opening her mouth to speak. “I- I uh..” She bit her lip softly, her eyes falling to the pale sand beneath her. Why was she following him? “Well– you seem rather interesting..” She hadn’t even remembered following the man honestly. What had gotten into her? “…so I suppose I wished to speak with you– but I was too shy to approach you and start a conversation.. so, I followed you.” Her cheeks flushed slightly, embarrassed to admit she had been following the other. “I’m sorry, I probably gave off the wrong idea! I should have just spoken with you before..”

He nodded, “That’s good. Let’s get go-” A low rumbling cut him off, eyes narrowed and body tense. “Something’s coming.” Kengou said, drawing his swords.

☀ — Taliyah’s golden eyes scanned the ground, feeling the movement steadily coming closer. “It’s headed right for us…” She muttered, staring in disbelief at the vast ocean of sand before them. “It knows we are here..” She quickly took a defensive stance, preparing herself for what she was about to witness.

“Let it come.” He glared, tensing as the rumbling near them. The sand around them shuddered before bursting outward, a purple beast jumping out, maw wide to eat them both whole. “Move!” Kengou shouted, pushing Taliyah to the side as he did the other.

☀ — Taliyah felt herself be pushed aside, narrowly dodging the monsters mouth. She quickly regained her balance by shifting the earth beneath her feet before throwing a few pebbles at the creature. “Hey, over here you ugly beast!” Her plan was to distract the creature while Kengou (hopefully) attempted to find it’s weak point.

The Xer’sai’s attack impacted the sand, kicking up a cloud around it that masked the sight of the beast. Still, the rocks flung by Taliyah drew its attention to her. With surprising speed, it lunged at the Shuriman girl with a powerful arm.

☀ — The girl made a noise of surprise before thrusting her arms in an upward motion, creating a wall of stone. She then took a few steps backwards, nervously gripping a stone from her pocket.

☀ — Taliyah perked up, nodding excitedly. “Yeah, I’d love to help you! Where do you wish to go?” Her golden eyes burned with curiosity- an adventure sounded great right about now!

“That’s the thing. The place I’m looking for is always moving.” Kenogu said, his face growing grim. “Tell me, what do you know of the Xer’sai? I’ve been tasked to take out a few that have been terrorizing caravans as of late.”

☀ — Taliyah listened to his words, taking them in for a moment before nodding. “Yes, I do know of them– though I don’t know a lot about them.. My tribe didn’t like to talk about them too much. I can try my best to help you find them though!” She quickly added the last sentence, hoping the man would allow her to tag along with him.

Kengou nodded, fixing his goggles and scarf over his face again. “Can you fight?” He asked before moving. “I’m supposed to kill these things if I have to. I don’t want you to get hurt in the fighting.”

☀ — “Oh-- yeah, I can fight!” Taliyah smiled brightly, excited she got to join the man on his adventures. “Don’t worry too much about me, I won’t hold you back!”

☀— The girl watched the other work, a curious glint in her amber eyes. She was invited to the others house to assist with gardening, but she had never done anything of this sort before, so she was left beside the woman, watching her dig a hole. “Not much grows in the sands of Shurima.. the dirt here is so lovely and rich!” She ignored the gloves the other had offered her before hand, reaching out to grab a handful of the tilled earth before her. “So, what will we be planting?”

“Ah- yes briefly though… I wish I could have went sightseeing, but I suppose war waits for no one,” he sighed softly while remembering his short time while stationed in Egypt.

“… so you said you are from there?”

☀ — Taliyah nodded softly listening to his statement before blinking softly, listening to the others question. “Yes I am! Specifically from a small city known as Shurima- though you here may call it by a different name. The people there are mostly shepherds, and there wasn’t a big college nearby, so I decided I’d travel out of my country to get my education.”

“Interesting, I think that’s called… an exchanged student yeah? I remember working with a few while over there, and they guided me to the airport when I was lost,” Riven chuckled, musing at the idea that perhaps they had met before this time.

☀ — “Yes, I believe that’s what it’s called!” She smiled, her head tilting curiously. “I often visited family near one of the airports- it’s sort of funny that we may have seen each other once before!” She laughed lightly, thinking over the thought for a moment.

☀—Taliyah weaved between the crowds, an uneasy feeling upon her. She hated being close to the new Shurima, but she had continued to visit it in hopes of finding weavers from her village. Her eyes scanned many unfamiliar faces, and after a while she let out a small sigh. While she was here, she’d might as well pick up a few things.         She reached the nearest market, buying a few loaves of bread. As she was handing the merchant their coins, someone bumped into her, causing her to lose balance. Instinctively she used her power to catch herself, a pillar of rock sprouting before her– right through the merchants wooden boxes of food.         “This is going to take ages to clean up! Please, let me help you. I’m so sorry..” She immediately put her bag aside, putting saveable food back into a crate that survived.

Jean clasped his hands together and smiled widely, sitting cross legged in front of Taliyah. He looked ever ready to enjoy the concert that Taliyah was soon to put on for him. The sun was soon set and the brisk cold of Shuriman nights caused Jean to move the fire closer to the entrance of the small shelter , then adding the last bit of wood he had to it ; it would last the pair another four hours or so of warmth. “I’m all ready when you are!”

☀ — After she had finished warming up, she nodded slightly. “Alright! I’m kinda rusty, but I’ll give it my best.”         She began to play, picking the strings softly at first. The melody slowly began picking up speed, crescendoing into an up-beat, dance like jig. Taliyah bobbed her head with the rhythm lightly, a dorky smile on her face as her golden eyes watched her fingers dance across the strings of her instrument.

Jean chuckled and stood up, beginning to hum along to the song and do various dances he learned over his times of traveling. “You’re amazing with that thing” He smiled brightly, forgetting about all of the troubles in the world to just enjoy this moment of happiness. He continued moving nimbly through the small stone structure.

☀ — Taliyah continued to play the energetic melody, her voice soon accompanying the instrument. She swayed back and forth softly, her eyes closing peacefully as she recited the ancient lyrics from memory.
