mike - he's a writer, makes sense. will he truly ever get over el? unknown. also, it's very mike to make his friends go to his basement and torture them instead of letting them go to a party.
el - i don't like all this belief shit. my girl should be confirmed alive and with her friends and family!!!
joyce - i felt joyce chopping off vecna's head was similar to karen attacking the mindflayer with a wine bottle. goofy when you zoom out, but still cool because i love winona. and prior to that point, she was kinda just standing around looking pretty and shouting her catchphrase. glad we got to see her at enzo's with hop.
hopper - he truly did not gaf about kali. i guffawed when he was said, "shoot me" to her and him and el basically ignored her to talk it out at the lab. and when he left that girl in the hallway to take el and i burst into laughter. i liked that he at least pretended to check with kali when that military guy was threatening to shoot her about el's location. knew he wouldn't give it up, especially for kali. again, he's heart became stone cold to her after she brought up suicide. but WHY does he have to keep losing his daughters?!?!? also some people may not forgive him for taking el out of the tank but i do because he thought he shot her!!! i'd freak out too. now, wanting to hash out if she's going along with kali's plan right when she should have been kicking vecna's ass, did piss me off. talk about this before omgggggg!?!?! again, glad hopper got to propose.
dustin - happy he got valedictorian. and still has steve in his future. i think they did a good job of showing his personality becoming a blend of eddie and steve's influences, while also remaining true to himself. his mom being happy he's an anarchist was fun. he's also such a only child to move only an hour away and call his mom everyday.
lucas - what a protector. never change. you are a star. lumax forever. like they're making it forever in my mind.
will - liked his convo with henry. interesting implications with the ped* undertones this season has. he will find his community and be happy with himself. love the implication he and robin remain close. controversial, but i don't think mike is good enough for him. he deserves someone that can beat out joyce and jonathan's overwhelming love for him, and mike can sometime tie them but never beat them. someone is going to sweep him off his feet.
max - i do have irritations with the duffer brothers going with the trope of disabilities being cured by not having her have any sort of physical / vision disabilities from the attack. still, sadie sink acted the fuck out of her role, especially with some of the shit they had her do, lumax forever.
nancy - oh nancy, letting yourself be bait. i love you. and dropping out of emerson to work at the herald is very lindsay from freaks and geeks coded to me. nancy wheeler is going to win a pulitzer. i still believe in the OT3 is a possibility for the future. it is the only way i may care about jonathan.
jonathan - oh, creepy jono with your cannibalistic anti-capitalistic film and making robin think you're going to kill her, you never change. still slightly pity you because it seems like joyce doesn't gaf about you. my favorite trait about you is still how much you love your brother. i hope the OT3 happens for you.
steve - i thought the editing of jonathan saving him was odd. anyone else think it was an illusion by kali at first? idgaf about his convo with jonathan about nancy. should have been him and robin talking. it does amuse that it's sort of a reverse bechdel test, steve and jonathan can really only talk about nancy and nothing else. more evidence the OT3 was the best answer. love coach and teacher steve!!! he's meant to be in hawkins, it's true. love, love that he will always be involved in dustin's life.
robin - i love you!!! rockin robin, you're so cool. wish i could have seen you and vickie at enzo's. please always take care of your baby gay will. you deserve to have these friends forever. may you keep seducing babes until you settle down (or not).
murray - 100% believe you're gay and slowly seduced irritated mr. clarke into dating you. you were always my least favorite character, but i hope you have a big, beautiful gay life.
erica - i love you. in the future, you totally saw what murray was trying to start with mr. clarke and tried to warn him. i hope you become president of hellfire, get valedictorian, and join nasa, or whatever it is that you want. you deserve it.
dr. kay - why were you still alive??????? you should have died!!! booooo!!!!
karen - fucking cool scars. you're a badass too cool for ted. hope you divorce his ass and level up with a hottie.
vecna / henry / 001 - thank god you're dead. kinda your fault for walking too slow, like damn i thought his monologue to will about being with the mindlflayer, and he chose this for himself was better executed than his monologue with el last season. the mindflayer switch was cool as fuck. also, why did his "they" sound like "the"? was that just me?
holly - loved you showing you're a true wheeler through and through by taking charge. glad mike is a good big brother to you. you and derek are the new robin and will. (i believe holly is a lesbian and derek is gay, no further questions). you should be president one day.
kali - honestly, she got an even meaner ending than el imo. like all her friends died and then she got shot like that?!?!? like i would have been pissed off if the duffer brothers invited me back just to do that to my character. like recast me!!! (not really, i understand wanting a check). kali deserved to have her friends and family too!!!
