NCIS 3x08 - Under Covers NCIS: Tony & Ziva 1x03 - Cover Story
Agents DiNozzo and David ā a perfect pair.

Has anyone else seen the guy who comments on YouTube under every video with Cote in it and his posts are sort of indecipherable? Like, he claims to know all sorts of stuff about her, says that she hates Michael and that Michael took all of her money, says that she will never say the name "Tiva" because she doesn't like it, and insists on calling her Maria because he says that she doesn't like the name Cote? Recently saw one where he said that she was in a long-term relationship with someone who "adopted her daughter as his own."
Like, I feel like he can't separate fiction from reality and has an unhealthy obsession with Cote and hatred of Michael. I'm not sure if it's to the point where anyone should be concerned about him actually doing something, but I see his comments under EVERY SINGLE video of her and it makes me feel... Uneasy.
Has anyone else noticed him?
romantically dysfunctional
You know, technically, maybe I should be asking you out. You did say the first woman I see. Heh, cute. But you had your chance.
NCIS: Tony & Ziva ā³ 1x10 - FULL CIRCLE
This has to be one of my favourite moments of the finale, because this is exactly how I've always imagined Tony and Ziva to react to Tali telling them she has a boyfriend! š„¹ And I adore their reactions when she says "psych!" even more! It's just the most wholesome domestic family moment and I really hope that when we get a season 2, we get more moments like this because they have my heart ā„ļø
I'm loving the casual LGBTQ+ representation in NCIS T&Z-- Claudette and Sophie, Dr. Lang and his partner, even the background gay couple at the couples retreat.
That having been said, this show could finally give us that representation we've been hoping for since a certain someone sauntered into NCIS and revealed that she liked the same dirty magazines as her future partner/coparent/love of her life.
Give us canonical confirmation of bisexual Ziva David.
What really struck me in this episode (1x07) is that I think Martine's actually another version of Ziva (and I don't think they're related), almost like an alternative timeline version- she is what Ziva could've become had she chosen a different path.
The name of this episode, Dark Mirror, convinces me even more that Martine is a mirror of Ziva, the version who chose to pursue revenge and was never able to walk away from her upbringing and all that she'd been trained to be.
But we see Martine struggling with aspects of it and I believe that in Ziva realising that their upbringing was essentially identical, that she could've just as easily ended up where Martine is, she is able to understand what is motivating Martine, but also to know that underneath, she is not a bad person.
The storytelling in this series is just so excellent and the way it's all unfolding and deepening each episode is so so good.
Okay, hear me out-- what if we're just wrong with assuming that Past, Present, Future takes place around the time that it aired. What if it takes place closer to the time that Damned If You Do aired? That would make Tali's birthday being March make a lot more sense.
I honestly think that Ziva will be the one to end things and it won't be because Tony had a big snap and breakdown, but because he doesn't.
She outright says that she's in therapy to be a better mother and partner. She's genuinely working her ass off to earn forgiveness and atone for what she's done in the past. I think she really wants him to be upset with her because, until he admits that she has wronged him, he can't really forgive her and that's what Ziva is really working for-- forgiveness.
Tony is such a typical "I don't need therapy" kind of guy (who should have been in therapy since he was a child) that he, probably honestly, believes that the best way to move on is to put the past behind them. The couples retreat confirmed that he doesn't really believe in the whole therapy thing, but he'll go along with it because it seems to be helping Ziva. Like, I think that Tony genuinely does not see how broken he is so he so doesn't really understand that the things Dr. Lang is asking are to help him as much as to help Ziva.
So, I don't think we'll get the flashback explosion from Tony (at least not the way that most people think). I think that it is more likely that the relationship ends because Ziva realizes that Tony is not in the right frame of mind to make this commitment. Or maybe she feels like he's not fully present while he thinks that she's therapizing too much.
This scene was even better than Iāve imagined.. silly me thought Tony would finally give a direct answer! but it was handled way way better by making him lie.. it was the perfect way of showing Tonyās abandonment issues.. i do think that what he said is partially true, he was actually trying to spare ziva another painful reality but i also think he lied to protect himself from facing another abandonment..
I wonder if they would dig deeper in his abandonment issues bcz I donāt think his issues are only related to ziva abandoning him multiple times.. i think it goes way back to his absent father, losing his mom and even wendy calling off the engagement, the guy was abandoned in multiple occasions which sure made it hard for him to open up and verbalize his needs and feelings freely in a relationship..
Very specific fandom thoughts, but boy did this remind me of when Niles and Daphne first got together in Frasier. Niles refuses to let himself see or admit any of Daphne's faults, while she starts seeing a psychiatrist for her own issues about the relationship. The psychiatrist sees what's going on and, when Daphne calls Niles out on it, he gets offended. She gets really frustrated because she's started to compare herself to the person that he seems to think that she is and, in trying to be that person, she's become incredibly stressed and depressed and anxious. It puts a real strain on their relationship until Niles finally makes himself understand that their relationship can't grow if he's loving the idea of a perfect Daphne rather than the actual human Daphne.
She's so soft for him š„¹

#daughter of two trained investigators is about to clock your shit
As someone who has watched Tiva from the beginning, I truly cannot put into words what I am feeling. I cannot believe we are getting these scenes that are straight out of fanfiction. We have waited 20 years for something to come from this relationship and now we are eating. Cote and Michael are truly the greatest because they are giving the fans EXACTLY what we have been asking for, for so long.
In 4 episodes we got more actual TIVA scenes than in the whole of mothership!
We are healing from the mothership trauma
