What is the current state of Equestria?

I was reading a book, when suddenly, the answered appeared.

I thought about it. "Well, Equestria is quite peaceful right now, except for the weird stuff that happens in Ponyville, and there was also that time that Discord was freed and almost took over the world. So, I'd say that it's in a state of temporary peace until the next big event happens and Equestria's in danger or something," I answered. "Probably in the next few months or so."

After having to go and wake up Princess Luna from her nap, we then met up with Princess Celestia and had that meeting. I had to tell the two a big lie about how me and the Cobalt Rush met through a tear in time and space since they didn't need to know about my and the cursed mare's adventure. I was able to convince the princesses that the stallion wasn't a threat to the kingdom. Though, the night princess did want to have a talk with the hybrid pony later. As for Cozy Glow, the pegasus filly had left for her room before the meeting, with the souvenir I had gotten for her.

"That was eventful," said Cobalt Rush.

I nodded in agreement. "It certainly was," I said.

Right now, we had arrived at the Training Area.

"Well, it's time for you to meet the others," I said. I then took a deep breath. "Everyone, stop what you're doing now!"

That got everyone's attention.

"What is it, your majesty?" asked Patchwork.

Seeing as I had everyone's attention, I directed a hoof at the hybrid pony. "Everyone, I would like you all to meet the newest recruit into the Eclipse Guards, Cobalt Rush. He'll be joining us starting today," I introduced. I pointed a hoof at each of them. "Cobalt Rush, meet Patchwork, Gilda, Starry Dream, and Lime Strike."

They each had given off their own greeting in response once each of their names were called out. The female griffin was there because in the letter, I told her that she can get paid for being one of my guards. Gilda had then packed up her stuff and headed for Equestria. I helped her find an apartment room just like with the hybrid pony.

"Now then, Cobalt Rush. Patchwork will be your sparring partner," I said. I looked at both Cobalt Rush and the patchwork pony. "If you're both okay with that, I mean."

He nodded. "Of course, your majesty," said Patchwork.

"It'd be interesting to fight against somepony like them," said the hybrid pony.

I smiled. "Great. Take your positions, you two," I said.

The two of them trotted out onto a spacious field across from one another, staring down at each other, waiting to make the first move.

"And...go!" I exclaimed.

The two ponies galloped towards each other.

The TARDIS was right next to Applejack's house. The doors were opened in my magic aura. Then, Heartbreak trotted out with some bags in her mouth.

"Can't wait to see your drawings. I want to have a look at your drawings when we both get the chance," I said.

The cursed mare placed the bags down onto the ground. "We'll see. I'm going to have to start practicing drawing with my mechanical pencil today and go from there," she said.

I nodded. "Okay. See you later, HB," I said. "Bye."

The TARDIS started to disappear as the sound of its engines sounded off its departure. Heartbreak picked up the bags with her mouth and headed for the door.

Few Minutes Later

The TARDIS had reappeared in the Canterlot Garden as its engines sounded off once again. Then, the doors opened as me, Cozy Glow, Cobalt Rush, and Tiergan, who was still riding on my back, trotted out. We had to go and look for an apartment for Cobalt Rush to live in that was within his price range. Luckily, there was one and we helped getting his stuff moved in before heading to the castle.

I looked back at the open doors. "Thanks for the adventure, you two. It was pretty fun," I said. "See you two again next time."

"You too, Lemon," said Doctor Whooves.

"Bye!" shouted Derpy.

We watched as the doors were shut, and the TARDIS starting to disappear as it was leaving, making the familiar sound of its engines before it was gone. Now, it was time for a meeting with the princesses.

Cozy Glow Appears

After a while of moving Cobalt Rush's stuff, there was only one bag left. I was about to grab it, when suddenly, Cozy Glow came out of a dirt hole that had appeared from the ground, screaming, shocking all of us. The pegasus filly was also carrying a pie and a banana.

"Cozy Glow?! How did you get here?" I asked, surprised.

She was surprised as well. "U-uh, where am I?" asked Cozy Glow.

I gave her a reassuring smile. "You're in another universe," I informed. "Can you tell us how you appeared from one universe, and appeared in this universe from out of a hole in the ground that appeared from out of nowhere?"

The pegasus filly calmed down. "Well, a weird-looking stallion wearing a weird hat showed up. He made a hole appear in the classroom and I fell through it," explained Cozy Glow.

As soon as she finished, me and Heartbreak had a feeling on who she was talking about.

"Did he have swirly-looking eyes, a coat with multiple colors, and a grin on his face like he was planning something crazy?" asked the cursed pony.

The reason for the second part was that she hasn't forgiven the illogical pony for the oatmeal incident that he caused while we were getting sweets in another universe. Heartbreak had to go back to the TARDIS to wash her hair. It had ruined the cursed pony's good mood.

The pegasus filly nodded. "Yeah," confirmed Cozy Glow.

Me and Heartbreak both gave off a frustrated/annoyed sigh.

"The stallion you met was one of the Heralds of the World of Illogic and is the most illogical of the ones who live in that world, Psychopath. The inhabitants of that world use the power of illogic to do, well, illogical stuff like that hole you came out of," I explained. I had pointed at the dirt hole, which seemed to have disappeared without any of us noticing. "We met him back when we were at a restaurant getting something to eat. He made my spots disappear. Luckily, I was able to restore them."

I looked at Tiergan.

"By the way, Cozy Glow, meet your brother, Tiergan. I adopted them during our travels," I introduced.

As soon as she heard that, Cozy Glow looked at the dragon, surprised.

"What?!" questioned the pegasus filly.

"I'll explain later. Right now, let's head back home, okay?" I said. "I have to sign Cobalt Rush up to train as an Eclipse Guard."

After that, I levitated the pie, banana, and the last bag. Then, I headed for the TARDIS with the stuff in tow. Everyone trotted along as well. Well, except for Cobalt Rush as he had to lock the door and leave the keys under the mat.

Cobalt Rush stared at his home. "Goodbye," he said.

As soon as Cobalt Rush arrived at the doors of the TARDIS, he was shocked to see the inside.

I knew what Cobalt Rush was about to say, so I decided to answer it. "Yes, it's bigger on the inside despite looking like a police box. It's both a spaceship and a time machine," I informed. "Can you come inside and close the door behind you please?"

He only nodded and trotted inside. Once the door was closed, the TARDIS disappeared.

*I nodded* Okay. Let's move your stuff into the TARDIS.

I turn and head back inside to grab a few suitcases I had packed up, rolling them out to the Tardis.

"There's a few other cases with valuables inside"

*I trotted out of the TARDIS with the others* I told you that we'd see you a few days in the future.

"I had no reason to doubt."

I take a deep breath and look back at my home.

"Everything has been packed up and it's on the market. I'm officially ready to move out"

*The TARDIS returns a few days later in the future*

My ears flick as I hear it return and I make my way to the front door and outside.

"Future...me? Future us? Strange terminology but I'll leave that up to you guys. Looking forward to joining the team!"

Cobalt extends his hoof out for a hoofshake, with a confident smile.

"I swear I won't let you down"

"Alright. I'll need a little time to do so and let my friends know where I'm going so they don't think I upped and left em behind without a second thought. Oh, and what about my current housing? I could put it up for rent. Hmm, I'll sure miss it.. lots of good memories.."

*I opened the door and came out with a smile on my face* Hey there, Cobalt. I don't know how long you've been waiting. I'm not late, am I? Also, you still want to accept my offer of joining the Eclipse Guards?

"Oh, Hey! Nah, nah you're good dude. I've actually given it a bit of thought and you know.. I think it might be beneficial for me in the long run so.. I accept!"
