and theres already people claiming nothing happened in this chapter. toby SAID it was one last fun day, we KNEW the chapter was going to be lore-light. but also?? its not even lore-light??? we get a lot more solid confirmation of theories, asgore's arc is resolving, ralsei has an arc, kris without the soul, confirmation of the sans picture, susie learning/knowing about the game aspect, etc. y'all gotta stop acting like your headcanons for a releasing chapter are gonna be right, this is Toby Radiation Fox we're talking about. just because we didnt get a knight identity reveal doesnt mean nothing happened.

used to think it terribly silly (and kinda funny) when fantasy or sci-fi stories would have people refer to major recent historical events as The Flood or The Incident or The Revolution, and im sure historians fucking hate that because it's not helpful or descriptive, but we sure do be calling it The Pandemic

one of my least favorite tropes is when a character has a crush that is explicitely unrequited and hopeless, yet in the timeskip epilogue they inexplicably get married. like bro if you fruitlessly pine after someone and they show no interest for the whole 3 year run of the story and then suddenly change their mind. i think theyre settling for you. quite frankly both of you need to learn some self respect. get divorced immediately.

Trying my best not to think about how UT!Asriel first fused with Chara's Soul to get to the surface & later consumed souls to become God of Hyperdeath, how Spamton wanted the heart-shaped object to achieve power & break free, and how Noelle is very clearly implied to have merged with Kris and/or SOUL into one under the lake to break the script & go out of bounds
