Hellooo!! This blog is for a magnus archives fan film called "The Usher Foundation: Reclaimed". I will be updating about the process, answer questions, and interact with anyone interested! Hope y'all are as excited as I am!

Here's a quick concept sketch for yall!

All my sketch books are currently packed up for me moving to my apartment for college (less than one month aaaa!) So we had so go old school(using the back of my biology notes)

Ok so I didn't know this but apparently the ao3 curse isn't just for ao3 authors! This project has forcefully been put on hiatus for AWHILE because of alot of big things happening in my personal life. Basically my phone was broken in half (literally snapped in twain!) and that caused me to loose all of the 5 HOURS of footage from the Archivist office scenes, and inturn months of work and coordination, all down the drain. That was in October that happen.

You might be asking, why not just try again! We'll here's the thing, I'm a student and at the time I was in my senior year of high-school(I graduated btw yay me!). This ment that I had to focus on school. At the same time! My father was going through the shit medically wich meant that I was acting as an at home nurse for him. But the ao3 curse does not end with school making me busy! NOOOOO!

in March my dad died. I had to fully rework my life from the ground up as a new orphan (yippee:,>). This truly was the last nail in the coffin for finishing the short film on schedule. My goal was to get all the gilming done by August 2026, that way I could finish editing it and adding music and anything else post production over the course of the next few months to years while I'm in college. This is not going to happen. This does not mean the project is dead!! I've been working on this since my freshmen year with no experience and pure determination and love of the game!

As an homage to my dear friend Kiera, who was cast as Charlotte Miller (the main girl) and has been with me since the start of this project, I will be doing 1 scene before I leave for college with her. She is being recast as Danielle "Danny" Whitney, the archive assistant. Along with this (depending on how good packing is going) I will be making a trailer. It will be made with salvaged footage from scraped shoots so many of the shots shown might look a bit different in the final cut.

It's 1 am where I am as I'm writing this and I think I'm cursed. This film has cursed me. In our fan film one of the main fears we're dealing with is the Corruption. The Corruption is trying to kill me. I went out for 15 minutes to plant cantaloupe spouts and came back with 35 MOSQUITO BITES. And that's just on my legs!!

Well Saturday has come and gone. And I promised some behind the scenes! LET THE PHOTO DUMP COMMENCE!!

Today was sfx testing. One of the characters needs to be murdered but before his untimely death there must be some spooky shit.

Bug fact of the day from your favorite indie fan film!

Mosquitoes live fake blood made from Karo syrup! They also live my blood. Specifically. I have counted about 20 bites. I got these over the course of 15 minutes. Summer I texas is a bitch.

Hands are also dyed black!

This Saturday is a big step when it comes to production! DRUMROLL PLEASE!!

WE ARE FILMING THE ARCHIVIST SCENES!!! Yay!!!! Due to the nature of how the story is the archivist is not actually the main character but about half of the scenes for take place in his office so it's gonna be a long day! Luckily I found an office that fits the vibe perfectly!!!

Imagine, if you will, dark wood paneling, wood filing cabinet built into the walls, ominous lighting and beautiful furniture. Ah yes, the archivist office... just need to haul up a desk and other spooky decor to the 6ty floor and WE ARE GOLDEN!

may I ask what power what or may not be at play most in this project?

So for this project I wanted to play with mixing the fears. Like Jonny and Alex said the fears aren't clear cut! So in short the main ones you'll see are the Corruption and Buried!

I'll leave it at that for now so I don't give to much too fast!

We have officially started filming and later this week I'll be meeting with someone to film the archivist scenes in thier office!

Hello everyone!! Sorry for the long wait! (When was the last time I updated?)

IT'S BEEN 6 MONTHS! oh how time flies when your busy as hell....

So what the situation. Well.. WE ARE STARTING TO FILM ON SATURDAY! (yippee!)

There have been some casting changes, I had to pull a markiplier and cast myself as the one of the main characters as my previous actor had to leave. But we are all set in motion!

Get ready folks for ACTION, ADVENTURE, BEHIND THE SCENES FOOTAGE!!! and so much more!

To be clear I have no first episodes! This is still being made by me and my friends!! You might be listening to The Magnus Archives? I did not make that but I am making a fan film for it and all credit for that amazing show goes to rusty quill and thier amazing team!!

For the past few weeks I've gone a bit radio silent.(Soryy!!) This is because I've been doing some exploring. Adventuring if you will..Me and my very professionally and super cool team have found most if our filming locations! Here's a sneak peak some of hour spookiest places!!

The hunt for fancy buildings is still on and lighting still needs to be tested but we are all so happy to show you what we make!!!

Did you know you can buy tape recorders? And many of them have blue tooth now!! I learned this because I was very busy and being very productive about the film and I learned that I can listen to tma on the tape recorder!!

This changes everything. I am with out words and SO DAMN EXCITED!!!! AAAAA!!!
