Virge doesn't stand up for Logan efficiently because Virge doesn't quite grasp the difference between being respected as a function vs as a person.

Like... most of Virgil's existence was his function and person both being attacked and devalued. After Accepting Anxiety, his function and person were both respected and valued simultaneously. Virgil wasn't taught to view them differently. To him, if your function is valid, then your person is valid. If your function is invalid, then your entire self is invalid and reprehensible. There's no tangible difference between the two for him.

So Virge snaps at the others to listen to Logan when Logan explains things and provides the logical perspective. He validates Logan's function... without realizing that Logan's person is still being neglected.

We all think of Janus to be the evil boo bad guy right?… especially in Anxceit or Roceit

Janus isn’t evil mean bad guy booing everyone, he just has issues and needs people to be mean (honest)

Anxiety very often makes you overthink and magnify situations to appear bigger than they are, I’ve touched on the subject of the Anxceit fall out before Virgil joined the core sides in the way that it might’ve been completely mutual and Virgil was dramatic about it because of him magnifying the situation, but even now he refuses to accept that he was wrong because of how much he hates Janus. But maybe Janus didn’t do anything much at all, joking as they normally do and Virgil overthought it and broke down without communicating properly causing a fall out. Janus still tries to joke with Virgil even after but it’s not the same because Virgil has grown in some way, so he goes for Roman instead because Roman hates him too.

Ummm this is basically me thinking about like all the sides with the song iloveitiloveitiloveit by Bella Kay, I even made a Logan edit. But also think about Janus with the song and just needing people to be mean to him as it’s the most apparent form of honesty. Janus doesn’t hate anyone except Patton because he’s honest without being mean, and Janus can’t possibly take that

Virgil is a very well off musician and owner of the biggest music business in Chicago is looking for someone capable and pretty to walk around and keep himself company on business trips (and to help with his rep).

Because one.

He hates being there with all those people without a good escape.

two.

He sucks at talking to people

Three.

Excessive general anxiety.

That's where Logan comes in the tired teacher at an under founded school. Who happens to work at a fast station after school. One day he's checking out some edgy guy who randomly asks about the effects of cigarettes and alcohol. And Logan of course informed him about it, that then the question was asked.

"would you like to be my sugar baby?"

Logan was shocked,flabbergasted who asks someone that? His perfection must have been evident to the other man. Logan quickly stones his face.

" you know I've heard you usually ask someone to dinner before questions like that." He faces an eyebrow to emphasize his point. The man looks guilty and like he is about to defecate himself, good, just where Logan wants him because who asks that?!? Especially a cashier? What if he was a high school student? The man is clearly over the age of 18.

" I KNOW I- UHG I'm just going to go about your hair alright-" the man clumsily digs through his pocket for cash. He throws two, two hundreds on the check out counter, Logan felt his heart speed up that's enough to cover the rest of his rent for the month. The man squeaks out an apology before rushing to the door.

Logan grabs the man glaring into his soul."were you serious?" He pulls the darker man towards himself.

The man looks on the verge of a panic attack,but Logan has bigger things to worry about he'll feel guilty later. The man looks into his eyes pleading confused.

"of course I'm sorry, I don't mean to blurt that at you! Not that there is anything wrong with you i-" he cuts himself off Logan lessens his grip and looks into his eyes." No before that when you asked if I wanted to be your sugar baby" Logan readjust his grip. " Sorry for not clarifying beforehand." He rubs circles into the taller anxious shaking arms maintaining his gase.

The man gains a look of clarity, his shoulders don't hold this much tention.

" yeah, yeah I did."
