Sunday Matinee Notes 7/19/26
I'm sure some of these things have been written about before but this is what stuck out to me this time from the back of the Mezzanine!
*Have to Have You- Max shows up during the "In the dead of the night" line and disappears after "Look at this little lamb"
* Mason's Pete is a little more assertive but doesn't shove the boys back during his death
* Grace as Vasquez's sister is sadder and a little more anxious about his disappearance.
* Paul flubbed the movie reference line
* David gave an impressed little nod before Hurt a Little, when Michael landed the hit on the strength test.
* Time to kill, Lost of usual Dwaynepaul and Parko moments.
* Dwayne and Paul make fun of Michael on the lifeguard chair, caught his name being said as they gestured to him
* Before Lost, Boy when Star goes to Marko and Paul before getting on David's bike, Marko teased her by flipping his hair and then Paul also mocked flipped his hair before blowing her a kiss.
* In the Coronado, again lots of the usual Parko, Dwaynevid moments.
* David kissed Star's hand during the "Think of how perfect" line. A very chaste kiss
* David did the stroking Michael's hair and touching his chest thing again while time was frozen.
*Max and Lucy hug after briefly Wild
*before You Belong to me at the surfer scene, Star clutches her stomach and then runs off
*She runs into Paul's victim who eats up there on the 3rd level
* Ben Crawford went off during You Belong to me
* Pre War scene, David grabs Star's hand and pulls it to his chest and then whispered please in the most pathetic way
*Starbeam did in fact kiss today ✨✨✨!!! Yippee!!
*During No More Monster reprise Starbeam were practically nose to nose while singing!
*After If We Make It Through The Night, When Max puts his hand on David's shoulder, David fully turned to face him and looked down to the hand on his shoulder and looked up to Max.
