Dude, I know your posts about Cory and Paul from The Morning Show are ancient. But I really enjoyed reading them lol. You made me like the ship, but unfortunately there's nothing about them. Not even a single fanfic 💔

Ah wow thank you. I am flattered I didn't think I posted about them too much to the extent that I would get someone to ship them(THEY WERE MY CRACK SHIP before season 3, until season 3 happened)...

I did make fun of his ROCKET....CAUSE HIS ROCKET PPL JFC...and some Cory Paul season memes...but then I got so annoyed with season 3, then just straight up mad over season 4 and this show...I couldn't crack ship, joke, gaslight myself through it anymore.

So sorry on that, I would have happily had some fun with them further...but the show ruined it for me on so many levels for me. BUT NEVER SAY NEVER, if I am informed(cause I don't know if I can watch season 5 without certain assurances from ppl that it's worth my time, and probably I am afraid, from those I trust who will still going to watch show) that Paul is grovelling to CORY in the new season, begging for forgiveness. Those jokey crack ship posts of CoryxPaul could easily return.

As for fanfic, I am answering your ask hoping someone will see your request and get on that for you <3 (it more than likely won't be me, if you were getting at that, as I don't see myself writing anymore MORNING Show fan fics...).

But hey Cory and Paul deserved more for sure...and I hope more people get on that for you because there is love for both of them for sure. ( And hey I wouldn't say no to gifs/men of these two hot men passive aggressively flirting with each other).

Hi! I'm the one who asked the question! (Sorry for posting anonymously, I don't know why I felt embarrassed LOL) I usually try not to ask questions, or at least not anonymously, so I don't know what came over me here.

It's a shame you lost interest in the series, not necessarily because of the series itself, but because I've also lost interest in fandoms I used to like, and that's quite sad. Although from what I've seen, the series has been declining lately (even so, I must admit that I haven't been watching much and have been guided a bit by your posts haha)

And about the fanfics, don't worry! I wasn't trying to pressure you into writing anything, I just mentioned it. Don't worry <3 Thanks for answering this, actually. I felt like it was such a stupid random ask that it didn't even need answering lol, thanks anyway :)

again sorry I got bit defensive re TMS fanfics...I wrote so many of them and gave my all to them....and just you know it was fun to start with, but then it got all so disheartening/heartbreaking by the end...like I said in my response to your ask that maybe that could change one day.

But if you end up writing Cory/Paul fanfic send it my way I would love to read it/or anyway Cory/Paul creations...THEY OWN MY heart even if the show/world don't understand them ;)

Oh wow. I see your experience in this fandom was awful, I didn't expect that, I'm truly sorry. Sometimes I don't know what's wrong with people in fandoms lately, especially (in fact) with rare ships and things like that, or anything they don't "approve" of as popular. I hope you're now having better experiences with other fandoms that don't give you anxiety or headaches ◉⁠‿⁠◉

This is one of my top movies of all time, I've watched it repeatedly, I can quote scenes verbatim, and it even got me to delve into Tim Robbin's filmography.

And AUGHH this is so true, barely any fan content out there! I feel that I must start seriously producing some fanart & fanfic in hopes of somewhat feeding the few enthusiasts it's got. I find that most people who have watched it aren't necessarily looking to get into fandom. But some of us are!!!

I am a bit weary of writing "x readers" and those sorts of things though, mostly due to my fear that they will be read by individuals who haven't completed the film. This is a movie best watched sans context. Spoilers can be incredibly detrimental to a viewers first watch, since a good chunk of the magic would be lost. That's not to say that when you do finish it for the first time it's not something you should go back and watch again. Quite the opposite! The rewatch value of this is throoough the roof!! But everyone's first go around with Jacob's Ladder should be with virgin eyes.

Anyways... erm this is a must watch for ALLLL Silent Hill fans. Especially you James Sunderland fanatics, the parallels are soooo delicious..
