When I said Wander's tactics always worked in the past before Dominator came along, I didn't mean that he reformed everybody. But what Wander always did was manage to find at least the tiniest bit of goodness/kindness/potential for redemption and friendship in everyone. Everyone Wander encountered before Dominator also paid some sort of attention to him (which he loves, even if it's negative attention). He can't stand being ignored. That's what upset him about Dominator; he couldn't find anything good about her until the last ep. Wander was extra sad when he didn't reform her because she was the 'toughest nut to crack' so far. If he had managed to reform Domiantor, that would have validated Wander's worth; it would have proved to him that he is so good at being this helpful hero that he managed to befriend the worst of the worst

who hasn’t been in an embarrassing moment? It’s perfectly okay to feel a little embarrassed about things sometimes, it’s always a little embarrassing when I try to help someone, only to find out they never wanted or needed it. The best thing to do is to laugh of your mistakes and move on!

Why Wander Over Yonder Deserved a Season 3 (and why i’m still not over it)

Hey there, it’s liv (or Livara if you know me here 💫)

I’ve been rewatching wander over yonder lately (aka crying and screaming into the void) and i just keep thinking about how much this show deserved a season 3.

Like… I know to some people it was “just a silly Disney XD cartoon,” but it honestly wasn’t. Yeah, it was loud and colorful and goofy, but underneath all that, it had heart.

Especially in season 2 — they went in a completely different direction. Real arcs were happening. Hater was slowly changing, even if he didn't know it. Dominator was introduced and immediately felt like an unstoppable force. Wander started to lose his shine a little… it wasn’t just random episodes anymore. It was building toward something bigger. Hater’s internal conflict??? peepers literally trying to hold everything together while watching his boss catch feelings?? wander desperately trying to stay optimistic while everything was falling apart?? Like, be serious. There was actual character development. And it was SO close to becoming something really powerful.

And then disney just… cancelled it. right when it was all coming together.

The worst part is that craig mccracken and the crew had season 3 fully planned out. It wasn’t just vibes — they had ideas, structure, character arcs, endings. They were setting it up right in front of us. We were gonna see Hater actually change. Dominator challenged. Wander's hope was pushed to its limits. It was right there, and we never got to see it happen. I really think season 3 could’ve given us one of the best cartoon arcs of that whole era. The show was already so underrated, and it had such a good message too.

Wander Over Yonder wasn’t just “good vs. evil,” it was about trying to believe in people, even when it’s hard. even when they don’t believe in themselves. about choosing kindness even when it’s not easy. And the fact that the fandom is still alive after all these years?? people still drawing art, making AUs, talking about what Season 3 could’ve been, that means something. It shows how much this show impacted people. It left something behind.

We may not have gotten the ending we wanted, but the fact that fans are still holding onto it years later says a lot.

Bring back woy.

hey Wander! Out of curiosity? Is your fur a big task for you as a star nomad? Like when eating and then the food gets stuck, when you go to the bathroom or when you get tangles? I need some help cuz my cat’s fur is getting really tangle rn!!

Well, my fur does get tangled sometimes, especially with all the adventuress I go on. Good thing I have a trusty brush to untangle it, and fix all those other things as well
