{When you forget about Tumblr. Oop.}
reblog this if your blog is a safe space on april fools and won’t have any jumpers, screamers, or anything scary or anxiety inducing
{I’ve been writing this massive arc for Oz and honestly... yes.}
Reblog if I’m allowed to send you in character asks even if we have never talked before.
“Mother... Do you mind coming with me for a moment?” He gently took her hand and off to Libra they went. More specifically, the Eye of Order. Oz proceeded to smile at his mom before whistling.
Two dragons landed near them. One a beautiful midnight-ish purple, almost black and the other a rather gorgeous, deep green.
Remi blinked and nodded and before she knew it, she was in Libra. With dragons. Dragons. “O-oh. Oz, what’s going on?”
“Just a little something...” He helped her up onto the dragon adorned with midnight scales before hopping on to the green one. With another little wave, both dragons took off for the sky.
Remi let out a noise of surprise before peering over the sides. Yep. That’s far down. Really far down.
“Don’t look down, mom. Keep looking forward! Take a moment and be one with the sky!” Oz was being cheesy, Remi thought. But at that same time...
A rather, wide smile appeared on her face. She couldn’t help but to let out a laugh as the dragon tilted. Despite her total fear of heights and falling, she put her trust in both Oz and the dragons.
Damn this was kinda fun.
That right there is what Oz wanted to see and hear. A genuine smile, a genuine laugh; his mother actually having fun. Oz smiled back and watched the skies ahead.
This though, was the least he could do to make his mother happy...
fleeting-wishes:
Whether it was by his choice or not, she was most definitely going to cherish this moment forever. His reaction to her voice made it all the more rich aswell~
The song wrapping up, her clinging to him giggling. “We should play in the wind more often~” and with that she kissed his cheek as if to thank him for a beautiful time on the random magic carpet.
Once that was over with, Oz’s face turned a light shade of pink again. What on Earth was that...? He had to admit it was fun, but it was SO strange at the same time. However, it may have brought the two of them closer...
“O-oh. Right. We should..” Yep, he was back to being a little bit awkward. Oz, however, did smile at that.
fleeting-wishes:
She was shocked when they were both swept away by a carpet- Wait! This Carpet is flying!? In the sudden of scooping them both up she had incidentally clung to him for balance- because by the balance was this odd! Though she was going to move away and give his space back, However he decided to start singing, something she didn’t get to hear often, of much at all. Though a smile graced her face.
How… Corny~ But it was definitly her cup of tea, hell! They were in the air among the wind!
“ A whole new world A dazzling place i never knew But now from way up here It’s crystal clear That now i’m in a whole new world with you Unbelievable sights Indescribable feeling Soaring, tumbling, freewheeling Through an endless diamond sky A whole new world!
A hundred thousand things to see I’m like a shooting star I’ve come so far I can’t go back to where I used to be”
Perhaps the first time Oz heard Meredith sing~
Seriously, did he make this choice on his own? Or was it some driving force? However when Meredith began to sing, his eyes grew wide in shock. She can sing very well. Beautifully too!
The magic carpet tumbled and spun as they were definitely in the moment. Their voices now echoing in unison.
“A whole new world With new horizons to pursue I'll chase them anywhere There's time to spare Let me share this whole new world with you A whole new world That's where we'll be A thrilling chase For you and me...”
It was obvious to Oz that Meredith enjoyed every second of that.
fleeting-wishes:
The change in the air was very obvious, and though she cast Oz a nervous glance, to see if it was this mage spirit she had grown so fond of, it was quickly clear it wasn’t him.
Was that music being carried in the wind? It most definitely felt like it was. Perhaps it was an omen? How could it be though, it was so pretty. Perhaps she should leave his Shadow and be a physical presence for him for… whatever this was?
Leaving his shadow, standing beside him, listening to the music. “I do. It’s very pretty, like the kind you can dance with” she hummed along with some of the notes after picking up the pattern relatively quickly.
“It’s just a bit odd and random.” How was he supposed to react to this? Should they follow the music? There was yet another push. This time a little stronger. Oz scratched his cheek, a bit confused at this sudden feeling.
Was it joy? A bit. But this wind... Hell, why not make use of this moment? Though before he could say anything, a.. magic carpet swept them both up and startled the hell out of Oz.
After a moment, he calmed down and looked around. They’re in the sky. At night. And she’s... VERY close to him. Oz’s face turned red and he could hear singing from afar. Were they cheering him on? Well, being up here is kind of fun...
“... I can show you the world Shining, shimmering, splendid Tell me, princess Now when did you last let your heart decide?
I can open your eyes Take you wonder by wonder Over, sideways, and under On a magic carpet ride
A whole new world A new fantastic point of view No one to tell us no Or where to go Or say we're only dreaming.”
Wait, did he just do that? No, he didn’t mean to-- Or did he?
There was a shift in the wind, and it wasn’t his fault this time. No, the air felt different. It felt almost... relaxing yet intense. Intense in a lovey feeling. He turned around; only wondering if he was being followed by a fellow spirit. The energy felt the same...
Little did Oz know that Unne was following him. It would seem she was most definitely aware of his awkward yet growing feelings for a certain Shade. And to make it more awkward, there was an urge to fly (?) and... is that music?
Green hues glanced to his ‘Shadow’, “Hey.. do you hear that?” The wind picked up again...
Yep. That’s it. He’s at home now and tired.

“Thanks Oz” he chuckled “That’s true, we all do don’t we. Your only saving grace is probably…. Noelle and Kylan. I worry about You, Naomi, and Lyra as well, most of all Ember and Mom.” it was true that the family must worry Oz quite a fair ammount.
“So does that graduate me to Time king? With a little Prince and Princess?” He joked. Well, he personally hope that maybe the girl would be more like Ember than he? Granted Aven was already quite a rascal and he was still only an infant. Charming and sweet but sassy and a bit of a trouble maker when he wanted to be. A blend of he and Ember and of traits that worried Iora if Aven would be a handful when older. Ah well, he was willing to help Ember and pull his weight in caring for both children.
“Though, and not to return to main topic but something out of curiosity; the maiden… I wonder if she’s ever interacted with anyone else of Libra. I think it’s fair enough to assume anyone with direct correlation to the rituals died because of her, but how about afterwards?”
“Oooh, the king of time~” Ember let out a small laugh. Oh la la, where’s his crown and throne? Though when Iora had asked if the maiden had interacted with anyone else; she couldn’t help but wonder the same thing.
“I would assume you two are king and queen, yes? Yes, those two don't worry me that much. They’re quite tame. Mom worries me to bits though; even as of recently. Anyway, time king...” He teased again and paused to think about his question. Iora brought up a good point and he shrugged. Had there been more interactions?
“There had been many counts of the maiden interacting with others.” Eleanor and Charis returned to the room and took their own seats. “Visitors and even the maidens who currently live here have gone through the same experience as you three. Even the queen has witnessed it.”
A Shade’s Plight
fleeting-wishes:
“Of course” she nodded “Mostly in those gems adorned on your hat.”
Listening to him explain the type of house he preferred made her nod. That’s something she could definitely agree with. “Sitting on roofs is also a great feelings, as well” especially when someone’s place is stuffy. This place though? It had a wonderful cross breeze going through out it.
“The pleasure is mine, thank you.” She faked curtsied before laughing a little. She wasn’t wearing a dress after all.
“Ah, I see.” He nodded, though the mention of it reminded him of what they had said to him before they left. However, he doubts she would know what it means.
“That’s true. I was lucky enough to get a room with many windows at the Order! Else I’d be outside quite a bit.” Oz laughed and waved his hand. If Iora saw her in his room, he might not let Oz get a break.... Well now this was kind of awkward.
“So, um.. do you have any family or are you on your own? Sorry to ask.”
The Third Eye
tokei-no-te:
“I’m positive.” He nodded. So the maiden interacted with ember and him. Two people not recorded by time. How odd of the maiden. Though he wondered how did she act around Ember? Towards him, well.. mixed messages. Perhaps it was casual boredom and leading them to see. Oz only finally saw her at the shrine, so perhaps that’s something everyone is capable of seeing. It was just… odd to Iora.
Though her next words made him surprised. “A girl then, huh?” He smiled. “Hopefully she and Aven get along well then.” That made him happy to know. “I’m sorry for causing you both worry then.” he nuzzled.
“Congrats you two! Iora has a little princess now.” He teases and claps his hands a little. The image of Aven having to take care of his little sister is absolutely cute!
“Ah, don’t apologize Iora. The entire family tends to worry me!” The summon spirit admitted. Though their mother and Iora tend to worry him A LOT more because they tend to forget about themselves.
“Thank you, Oz. And I’m sure Aven will be excited to know that he gets a little sister. I am also sure they’d get along just fine!” Ember kissed Iora’s cheek, happy to know that the news made him happy, even by just a little.

She partially sat on his lap, Easy access to wrapping his arms around her. “You don’t need to apologize, Ember.” He rested a head against her. Being near her made things much better for him. “You were only doing what you thought was best, it’s perfectly fine. Both of you.”
Though one thought tugged at him.. “Did the maiden interact with you at all, Ember? She seemed insistent on avoiding Oz’s gaze… though.. He seemed distracted with ghosts.” a small smile of subtle teasing his brother. “Sorry for not noticing what was spooking you the whole time Oz.” He supposed he just had bad timing with them.
Though she wanted to talk about it later, just simply talking was helping Iora. “I’ll be okay, It’s just minor shock is all.”
“If you’re sure.” She gave a nod. “She did. It was strange that she was doing so because it was like... watching myself.” Ember then nuzzled Iora a bit. She does know that he will be okay, but man does she worry.
“Alright... Besides, your daughter would be happy to know you’ll be alright. We both worry about you.”
Oz simply chuckled. Iora was... still Iora. That’s a good thing. A very good thing. Though it was weird to hear that the maiden also interacted with Ember; her look alike.
However, his thoughts were interrupted by the word ‘daughter’ and his green hues shot towards Iora and then at Ember like: You’re having a girl!!!??! Congrats!!

Ember was likely used to his markings blurring and sometimes, when it was really bad, becoming smudges but he was glad Oz wasn’t questioning it. Well.. if he did ask, he was sure Ember could explain it.
He nodded that he saw and then shook his head to her apology. “It’s fine, Ember.” She needn’t apologize. He saw the signs and ignored it anyway. “I should have Told Oz we should turn back, it’s my fault for deciding against it.”
Though he tilted his head at Oz slightly. Questioning what he meant. “She… had a dream of it. Probably because of the circumstances being so similar…” His voice trailed off.
“...” Ember sat next to Iora. Well more like partially sat on his lap and the chair. “I have. Both in dream and here. I... If I knew you were coming here, I would have explained things. And... I should have told you when I...”
She paused and leaned against him a little. “This was a long time ago... I really should have told you, but I figured it would have been too much.” Ember then laughed a little. “I’m sorry...”
“There’s no need to apologize. I understand...” Oz frowned a little though. To her it was like seeing herself getting killed. She experienced the pain and torture herself, but witnessed a fate that could have been her own. “And it’s not your fault, Iora. It’s mine. I was being persistent.” He sighed.
“Hey, let’s ignore that for now. We can talk about it later when you’re all free from shock. I want to make sure Iora will be okay.”

He held onto Ember some more before letting go taking her hand and simply placing the red ribbon in it. Simple enough. Straight to the point. He knows she knows. However, in a different sense. He recalled her telling him of the dream. He understood the symbolism behind wearing the red ribbon, even though he was unaware of Libra’s paralleling history.
“Just.. Ignore my markings for now. They’ll come back later. They always do.” he relayed. He was still shaky mentally but Ember being there made a mark of a a difference. However he verbalized it so that Oz understood to not worry about his markings either.
Ember looked at the ribbon in her hand, “I..I see. So you saw it too?” While yes she saw it in her dream, she came here to witness it herself. In fact, it was her dream who brought her here in the first place.
“I’m sorry, Iora... To have to see that again and... I’m sorry.”
Oz watched his brother place the ribbon in Ember’s hand, indicating that he might know that Ember already knows of this event. However, he’s unaware of her dream and why she came here. He took a sip of his tea and noted his brother’s statement. They’ll come back later, he says. Alright.
“Ember, do you really know of this event..?”
