one of the saddest things to me about Jasons death is that we never got to see him and piper rebuild their friendship. We saw their joint awkwardness and confusion over their made-up relationship in tlh, we saw them dating(and not being very good at it) in hoo, and we saw their resentment in toa. but we never got to see them getting to know each other again :( I just would have loveddddd to see how they interact when they’re not actively dating or trying to date. they care for each other so deeply and they never even got to just be dumb teenage bffs together:((((((( we got sm platonic liper and platonic valgrace content but never any platonic jiper. its just that it would have been so sweet and interesting to see them interact and bond when they’re not being pushed together either by outside forces or what they felt they should be doing. Their dynamic is just so fun and not one you rly see in other pjo books and I love it. like they’re friends but they dated but and it didnt work out how they thought it would. they were just scared kids who found comfort in each other:((((((((( god I miss them
