Remember in the Arc, when Allen shone so bright, Lavi feared he might vanish into the light. Now, Allen is the light that pulled him out of the darkness.
Lavi saying he's got to be Bookman he's got to record while Allen holds his hand bringing him back from the darkness and hovers over him calling him Lavi instead of Bookman looking like he really wants to smooch him is just so hhhhhhhh
Gotta love how Hoshino-sensei was like "actually, Allen and Lavi's *broadly gestures at everything* isn't gay enough, I'm gonna make them connected by the red string of fate too, for good measure"
I just have no words, I don't know how to comment on this. Allen learned and realized something extremely important, difficult and sad, as if before it all was "easy" for him

The good thing about being in the D.Gray-man fandom is that no matter how little and irregular other things get updated, it always feels like being spoiled bc nothing compares to waiting eight years for a new Chapter and then when it finally came out, it only had 7 pages
