My friend made the most beautiful thing. She compiled all the clips of You from every show we’ve been to. This song means so much to me, I have it tattooed on me ffs!!! We’ve been to all 6 shows together and will go to so many more. She’s been so supportive since I’ve known her and I’ve been going through a lot of shit recently. This band and song have helped me through so many periods of my life and I feel so much when I watch this. It reminds me of the times I felt real happiness. When I experience this song live I forget everything and know what it’s like to be alive. I feel safe when I’m in this moment. Sweetlife was the first time You was played at festivals and they weren’t even going to play it. Matty told the crowd he decided to change the set, and I heard the beginning notes and lost it. It was my first time being barricade and they played my fucking song. I cried so much, like I never do that at concerts. I couldn’t stop the tears and I’m pretty sure Ross saw me and made a face lol but oh man that moment was the happiest I had been in my life. I could blab on forever but basically I’m going to change my life to improve my mental state so whenever I’m in a bad place is can watch this and remember I can, have, and will be happy. I will NEVER stop loving you… this video is the physical representation of my love for this band.
