This little festival reminded her a lot of the street fair in Barcelona she had attended the summer after her 5th year while her parents worked with the Spanish Ministry. It didnât look similar, and the games and food were far inferior, but she thought it might be the excitement she was feeling from most people â not the undeniable excitement that came from war related events, but excitement that required nothing but showing up.
She sat on a chair, off to the side of the food tents, and took slow bites of some random pastry she had already forgotten the name of. People watching was a nice break from all of the excitement. She smiled as she watched a little boy run off with an ice cream cone he had snatched from an unobservant food tent minder. Respect.
---
As much as she really didnât like valentines day, she had to admit that the festival was pretty cool. She was still frustrated that she couldnât be so open about her relationship with Rodolphus, but she had decided to not let it ruin her night. Sheâd come to have a nice time, and so far she actually was having a pretty good time. Even Thea had to admit that it was nice to do something that wasnât work or realted to the war. It was nice to see people enjoying there selves, even if some of these people she didnât really approve of too much.
Sheâd headed to the food tents, wanting to get something to eat before she had any more drink. One couldnât get too drunk and make a cool of herself. She got herself a portion of chips, and looked for somewhere to sit. That was when she spotted the familar face. âHarper! Hello!â She didnât know the girl too well, but she knew she was marrying her best friend. So, that made Thea want to know her more. âMind if I join you?â
Where: Near Food Tents
When: Early Afternoons
Who: Thea and Panda ( @pembrokesboxâ )
Thea was actually having a pretty decent time at this carnival. She was planning on heading home after for a rest before the evening events. She was planning on writting a little article for the network about the event, which was why sheâd come to just look at the childrenâs stuff. She was feeling a little hungry though, which was why she was heading over to the food tents. She wasnât really sure what she was going to get, so she just randomly joined a line, not really bothered about what exactly sheâd eat.
âOh....â That was when she realised who was in front of her. She hadnât seen Pandora for a while. Their break up, although years ago, had been pretty messy. âPandora..... Helloâ

Where: Valentineâs carnival When: After 10pm but before the bachelor(ette) auction Who: Brenton && open
Brenton wasnât too fussed about the rest of the day. Actually, even the evening wasnât something he would normally be interested in but he always gravitated to where all the people were and opportunity for chaos or not he would have found it boring to stay anywhere else when this was the place to be for the night. He even found he was enjoying it more than he thought he might once he got there. Time had been spent in the Merlin Rouge pop-up tent and he had been on a ride or two. Heâd caught wind of a couple of the names included in the bachelor(ette) auction, as well and in a moment of pettiness his own name had joined the list. So now, if it were to be a competition between him and Walden and Rabastan (whether the other two knew as much or not), it was time for him to start encouraging people to bid on him. He sidled up to someone stood alone. âI donât like seeing people all alone somewhere like this. Can I get you a drink?â he asked with a low voice and a wink.
---
Despite the fact that she couldnât spend the evening publically with Rodolphus like she would want to, Thea was actually haveing a pretty decent time at the event. It was fun, and she was enjoying herself more than she thought she would. It was pretty interesting to watch people get way too drunk. She, although had had a few drinks, had no intentions of getting drunk and making a fool of herself. She looked up as she heard a voice, and she just smirked at him. âOh? Good thing you found me thenâ She mused with a little smirk. Although she was in an exclusive relationship she wasnât against flirting. And to the rest of the wold she was actually supposed to be single. So, flirting would probably need to happen. âYou can indeed get me a drink. My glass does seem to be empty after allâ

where: valentineâs carnival when: 7:30ish pm who: cordy, the twins & OPEN
âTwo more games?â Cillian raised her eyebrows in a perfect imitation of her father, and had Cordelia not been playing the stern parent at this time she would have laughed. But as Nel had wandered off with the instruction to find her the strongest drink available while she wrangled their fussy children to send them off with her parents.
âOne,â Cordelia responded. Cassian smirked at his sister who scowled quickly. âOne more game and then you have to leave with your grandparents.â Cordelia could hardly believe she was in a standoff with two five year olds, but then again she was softer for her children than anything else in the world. âDaddy and I need adult time, my loves.â
The twins let out matching cries of disagreement when they suddenly smiled at who ever had interrupted this little tantrum.

Theadora didnât usually celebrate Valentines day. She mostly spent it as any other day. She had no real reason to celebrate, especially as she couldnât exactly spend it publically with her boyfriend. So she usually sent Rodolphus a sappy card, mostly in a teasing way, and got on with her day. Cordy had mentioned the carnival though, and sheâd been kind of interested. And it would be nice to spend some time with her best friend, and her god children. She adored those little kids, and really did live vicariously through Cordy, since she was probably going to have no children herself.
âIs mommy being mean?â Thea teased, grinning at her two favourite children as she came to where the little family were. âHey Cordyâ She smiled at her friend. Maybe it would be nice to spend some time with her best friend, and her kids. âAunt Theaâs here to save the dayâ Because she spoilt those children like she was actually related to them. âWhereâs Nel?â
Where: A secluded spot, outside of the carnival
when: Around 10pm, 14th February 2083
Who: Thea and Rodolphus ( @rodolphosâ )
Valentines day was always pretty interesting for Thea. She didnât tend to celebrate it usually. It was pretty hard to get into the spirit when the man you loved was married to someone else. Of course, Thea knew what she had got into when sheâd gotten into a relationship with Rodolphus. But it didnât make days like this any easier. This year was different, and Cordy had managed to convince her to come spend the day with her and the twins. Considering she had the day off, and hadnât seen her best friend in a while, so sheâd said yes. At least it had kept her mind off of things.
She hadnât really had many plans for the evening, apart from maybe spending a little time with Rodolphus. She hadnât thought coming back to the carnival would have been on the agenda. They couldnât be a couple in public, and it sucked. âI was surprised you wanted to come....â She murmured, looking up at him. They were stood in a little secluded spot, not having made it into the main area yet. This was the only time they could really be them selves, when they were away from others. It was risky, being out in the public, but Thea was pretty certain nobody would find them here, otherwise she wouldnât have done it. She leant up, pressing a kiss to his cheek. âHappy valentines dayâ

Rodolphus was still with Lucius? They must have more important matters to discuss on their own. Narcissa wondered if that meant that Bellatrix was still inside the manor too. âIs my sister still here as well?â she asked. It made sense that Thea would wait for Rodolphus. They did work together, after all. Surely, Bellatrix would wait for her husband too right?
Draco impatiently tugged on Narcissaâs skirt. After an afternoon of walking around, the little boy was tired and he was very much sore that his mum decided to talk with a friend when his room was just a few steps okay. âAll right,â she told his son as she carried him in her arms. âMummy will take you to your room.â She turned back to Thea and smiled apologetically. âWould you like some tea while you wait? Iâll just put little Draco here in something more comfortable.â
---
Thea really hoped that Narcissa didnât mind her hanging around in her house. Of course, if sheâd had to wait much longer, sheâd have just gone back to the office herself. But it made sense to wait for Rodolphus, especially since they were actually both heading to the same meeting. âOoh. I think so yeah.â She hadnât actually paid too much attention to where Bella had gone. So maybe sheâd left? She wasnât sure. âIâm not sure what theyâre talking about, so might have involved Bella.â She wasnât sure.Â
Thea smiled as she looked down at Draco. He was cute. Whilst Thea wouldâve loved to become a parent one day, sheâd settled with the fact that she likely wouldnât. There was only one man she wanted to have children with, and that wouldnât ever be happening. So, maybe sheâd just need to live through her friends instead. âOh.... Tea would be lovelyâ She murmured with a smile. âIf you donât mind of course. I wouldnât want to imposeâ
