Hi this is an Acolyte fan/ discussion page. I personally don’t mind criticism of the show but don’t be rude. I run more than one blog but this is going to be my main one for a while. If you decide to read this hello how are you doing. I’m a pretty nice person who also try’s to be the best version of myself who is kind and caring. That doesn’t mean to try and test me though because, I have a very slick mouth that can get real mean if need be and it translates to typing really well to try me if you want to. I do block people in a heart beat don’t care either. No racism, sexism, ablism, or homophobia. Anyway hi love all of you that read this, welcome say a little while if you like. Love you🤭

I don’t usually make posts like this, but I need to address what’s been happening online to me recently.

I am a teenage artist who draws a lot of pjo!show art, especially Leahbeth, because I genuinely really enjoy the show. I also draw the book versions, just less often, because it’s harder for me to draw characters without a set look to work off of.

Liking the show does not mean I hate the books. I love the book designs too. I just personally draw the show version more as its easier and I'm used to drawing them.

That said, I should not be receiving death threats, racist comments toward Leah, or extreme hate just because I draw pjo show characters and not the books. I’ve had my art taken, edited, and whitewashed, and I’ve been attacked simply for liking the show.

This has gone way too far.

I am a teenager being harassed over fictional character designs.

You are allowed to prefer the books.

I am allowed to like the show.

If you don’t like the show or which version I draw then please scroll. Harassment, racism, and threats are not criticism, they are unacceptable and your rudeness will involve in me blocking you because I am not allowing that hate into my life.

Is going to be one we’re osha and Sol has this kind of Thanos and Gamora relationship, we’re she was the perfect daughter that got away is going to be sad and angsty, qimir is still going to be the love interest but the main plot is this perfect daughter that was left her whole life behind

I will be writing this based on voting which will end at the end of August 20th, 2024 and the first 5 chapters will be released on September 1st, 2024.

I don’t know how to tag people yet because I’m new to this app but, I want to give credit to the artist so here’s the link.

Bro I’ve been seeing this everywhere, since they noticed some people don’t care about what they have to say about the show and are still going to watch The Acolytes they started push this narrative that Qimir is abusive, groomer, or Creep.

Which blows me because it’s coming from accounts that were literally just saying how great he is or he’s the only thing they like about the show and how he’s their favorite character and how they’re only watching the show for his fight scenes.

But them saying stuff like that is cause people also to have this mind set of maybe I’ll watch this quote on quote “shitty show” at least for him and his fight scenes.

So now they’re back tracking and saying how terrible of a person he is and that he a weirdo groomer who’s looking to date/sleep with his pupil.

I can’t with the hater’s of this show bro, they’re doing a hard line of that white powder before they come up with reasons to hate.

Also to the hater’s that are trying to us there real life age gap to talk about how he a groomer and how the show it bad stop it because you look dumb Manny Jacinto is married, and Amandla stenberg is pan but has only dated women.

Your can talk about the show’s writing, pacing, plot, acting, choreograph/stunts hell you can even make fun of the grass or flowers in a scene if that get you off.

But don’t start rumors like that it can both there careers over a show.

I like to add some more context for the part under the laughing emoji, there are people spreading this rumor that Lesley headland purposely add Qimir to write this weird love story and that Amandla and Manny are secretly doing you know what

From article and interviews we know this is not true because members of the cast have come out and said he originally was not in the show that much but it was after test screenings that she noticed the love for him.

Then she asked Manny Jacinto where he would like his character to go and what he would like to do, and in that article it say that manny see Mae as a sibling but see’s Osha as more then that the 2 have an age gap of 10 year. So there using that to say their pushing a toxic relationship not only in real life but also in the show.

Which is stupid because Lesley said she got her inspiration after the test screening, they’re also based of Reylo and manny said he see Mae as a sibling which they keep forgetting is still Amandla. 😂

Anyway to the vile people spreading that get help a show can’t get you that mad to a point you want to ruin the people’s lives.

if yord had lived he'd be leading the hunt for qimir and osha and we would've gotten the most delicious tension between him and qimir. qimir would start out frustrated that yord got away, intent on finishing what he started. and yord, once hunted, now hunter, once an exemplary jedi, and now solely focused on revenge disguised as righteous justice (which it is also a bit of that). and qimir starts to enjoy the game, the chase. and in this timeline, sol still dies, osha still goes with qimir, but yord was unconscious, recovering in a bacta tank, so all he knows when he wakes up is that qimir is out there and took osha, his friend, away. so then you also have the tension of that confrontation, the realization that osha has willingly turned, and that maybe yord can't blame her for that, because what has he been doing these past many months, years, maybe, but give in to the selfish desire to finish what he started too?

Again, it was to have someone that was so scary, to have somebody that we clearly see is a bad guy, and he's doing bad things, and Lucy is dying, and then to have this deep connection with Mina, where you see a totally different side of him. One of the things that really works about that movie is that there is this past life, soulmate, reincarnation idea for this character that has been alive for centuries, and he is just shocked to find her.
