♈️ Aries: Aries! Some things that are currently working pretty well for me to lose weight

-Eating extremely small portions but never outright fasting~ Since fasting can slow your metabolism, I think it’s a bit better to eat about a fistful equivalent of food. Only do this when you are 100% sure you are hungry. This will help prevent binging too.

-Constantly drinking~ Water, tea, anything without sugar or calories. A guilty pleasure of mine is unsweetened seltzer water, although I know drinking carbonated stuff isn’t great for losing weight. Still, it’s infinitely better than drinking juice, sugary soda, or alcohol.

-Using small dishes and plates~ It sounds dumb but this one works super well and can help you dodge the suspicion of onlookers who might think your mostly empty plate “isn’t enough”.

-Loosely counting calories~ Okay so you’re all going to hate me for this, but calorie counting is way too heavily relied on for weight loss. This isn’t a “lb of bricks vs a lb of feathers” thing. Whether you like it or not, 500 calories in raw veggies will better than 500 calories of junk food no matter what. That being said, if you have to have that snack or that sugary beverage, look at the calorie count. My general rule is to never consume something packaged over 100 cal in one go. 

-Setting a somewhat strict cut-off time for eating every night~ Mine is 8pm. One of my Chinese friends doesn’t eat after 5pm and she is slender and gorgeous. 

-Not skipping breakfast, but making it small~ Eat something, even if it’s a single clementine or a cucumber. 

-Convincing yourself that everything you eat is a lot~ If you tell yourself over and over again that your breakfast of a single poached egg was a “huge meal,” you will actually feel like it was. On top of that, it will be much easier to tell others later that you ate a “big lunch” and not to get food with them

-Putting most things on a plate~ For some reason, four baby carrots and two pieces of lettuce feels more filling if you chop them up and arrange them beautifully on a plate.

-Getting the smallest and/or healthiest thing when you do go out with friends~ Ice cream? Get a baby cone. Tim Hortons? Get a small black coffee. It also helps to look at the menus online beforehand if it’s a big chain joint.

-Keeping a food journal~ If you’re lazy like me, you don’t have to do this every day. I write down my intake at the end of days when I think I’ve eaten a lot in order to make myself reflect on what I’ve eaten.

-Always looking at thinspo~ This is one thing that keeps me on track every day and sometimes even stops me before I eat something.

-Weighing yourself every morning after going to the bathroom and before eating, only in the morning~ This is the best place to see your results and make yourself feel good about your progress. It might be tempting to check throughout the day, but I’ve found that no matter what I do always gain weight during the day.

-Cut waaay back on carbs and non-natural sugars~ I usually allow myself something sweet every day, but I still try to satisfy sweet cravings with fruits if I can help it.

Here’s a list I’ve compiled for different types, places, and times to collect water and charged waters. I use these primarily for different energies to paint with but the information can be used in a variety of ways to fit your practice.

Types: 💧 Rain: cleansing, protection, energy (if collected during a sun shower it is also associated with balance and the first rain in the month of May (Aqua de Mayo is considered to bring good health, luck, and eliminate dark entities ) 💧 Creek/Stream: purification, harmony 💧Dew: Health, eyesight, beauty 💧 Fog/Mist: Creativity, balance, partnerships 💧 Ice: Transformation, balance, creativity💧 Pond/Lake: peace, contentment, relaxation, self reflection 💧 River: moving forward, protection 💧Sea/Ocean: health, power, goal manifestation 💧 Snow: Transformation, balance 💧 Spring Water: growth, cleansing, protection, prosperity 💧 Swamp/Waste: Banishing, binding 💧 Waterfalls: power, energy, success 💧Well: healing, wishes, intuition

💧 Tears: healing, compassion, emotional upheaval, blessings, binding, fertility/pregnancy, self reflection

☔ Seasonal Rains☔ These are specific associations for rains collected on the day or night of a solstice or equinox which make them more rare. 💧 Spring: New Ventures 💧 Summer: Growth 💧 Autumn: Gratitude 💧 Winter: Blessing

🌙 Moon Water🌙 In general water charged under the moon is considered sacred to the goddess and is associated with feminine energies and intuition. Here are some associations with the specific phases: 🌑New/Dark: curses, banishing, divination🌘Waxing Crescent: attraction, wealth, success 🌗 First Quarter: creativity, motivation 🌖 Waxing Gibbous: good health, attraction 🌕 Full Moon: Healing, cleansing, clarity 🌔 Waning Gibbous: undoing, cleansing 🌓 Last Quarter: breaking bad habits, banishing 🌒 Waning Crescent: wisdom, illness, balance

📝 Note: you can also charge your water under full moons that correspond to your intentions. Examples- full flower moon for fertility, beauty, and feminine energy or full moon in Aquarius for the added associations.

🔆 Sun Water: (Water charged from dawn til dusk) positivity, energy, power, strength, masculine energy. 🌹 Rose Water: (Either rain, dew, or snow collected from roses or condensation collected from boiling roses) love, protection, commitment, beauty, compassion 💀 Gravestones: (water collected from grave sites) ease of loss, restfulness, burying or releasing feelings. 🏛 Monuments: (water collected at monument sites) remembrance, nostalgia, patriotism, loss 🌈 Rainbow: (Water collected during a sun shower while a rainbow is present) luck, wealth, happiness, fulfillment, positivity.

the new moon is associated with new beginnings, so use new moon water in spells or rituals focusing on things like new employment, new relationships, or new homes. 

e.g. when moving into a new home, add a couple of tablespoons of new moon water to the water you would normally use to cleanse your house with!

how to make a dreamcatcher mobile🌟

ok so first off your going to need a few things 

-glue

-string

-sticks

-crystal chips (optional, but highly suggested)

1st step: make a circle out of sticks

step 2: dress it up and glue it together

step 3: for those long strings that come down i made some that are just crystals with strings like this 

or i would add sticks to it like this

basically all i did for those was i got some string, tied a knot at the bottom, and glued it on to the crystal chips

step 4: design the circle of sticks any way you like

and i added a tigers eye in the middle

step 5: put it all together!

and then your done! have fun my little witches (I know a lot of you know that I changed the name of this post a few times to appease some of you, but I decided to change it back because frankly making a piece of art respecting the land I was born on (Canada) and incorporating witchcraft into it is not cultural appropriation)
