[12. My muse has dreams of making it big, yours is a music producer who finds them singing in a bar. Mine has to convince you to give them a shot. ]

Alana scanned the small crowd in front of her as she started on the last few lines of the song. The routine was wearing on her, touring small bars and trying to make a name for herself wasn’t getting her very far. But tonight was different and Alana was trying to give her best possible performance. A friend of a friend had arranged for a producer they knew to come to her show tonight. She spotted him sitting by the bar and knew she would have to approach him after the set.

Soon after finishing, Alana moved through the dimly lit bar towards the producer. He smiled politely as she approached.

"Mr. Crawford," Alana said, extending her hand out to shake his. "Alana Bloom. I hope you enjoyed the show."

In the first minute of the song, he had the habit to sit on the stool giving his back to the stage. To trust in his senses, and have a first impression in his head before to create a false hope. This time the thing was going by the good way and then, he turned around to put a face at this voice. 

Few minutes later, he could stare better at the owner of the voice as the woman approached at him. He did the same as well, extending out his hand to shake hers and a small smile appeared on his face, it was somehow rare to see his face smiling, he had the reputation to be a grumpy one. 

"Good night. I did. A good song though not enough to know if your style is what I'm looking for."

I loved the idea of drawing Jack Crawford in a three-piece suit, since we all know that Dr. Lecter is not going to wear it in nbchannibal Season 3. And I wanted to give a clue about his strong bond with his wife, Bella; that’s why I put wedding bands on his tie.
