Her eyes followed the cigarette rather than anything else, let alone his eyes or his tone. It was like a bright bait, and she couldn’t have said why exactly it attracted her—their?—attention so much. “Tell you what,” she paused, a sharp nail scratching at the surface of the table, “You don’t know the father, but you personally are closer than you would ever think—mostly because of your low brain capacity..” Another gulp of silence filling the air as her gaze shifted and changed ranging from the emotions of the warden behind her to Morgana herself. “And there is one person in your circle who is closely affiliated with him.”
“Something tells me,” begun she again after a moment, “That we should have simply kept you on a leash or in a cage instead. The bracelet doesn’t seem to cut it. Perhaps the voltage is just too low..Anyhow.”
Alexander’s face scrunched up as he decided to stupidly focus on the insult rather than the important tidbit of information. “You saying I’m stupid? Because if you are, we might need to step outside and settle this out.” He told the creature before him, his words menacing but their tone anything but. “I have a question though, Prof. I don’t know your daddy because he’s unheard off or...? What happened to your mom though? She still around or did she kick the bucket?” The male then jokingly snapped his fingers. “That explains the daddy issues! And the daddy kink, am I right?” Adding a wink to his words, he then proceeded to settle back onto his chair, slouching into it. “My circle is quite big, you see. You need to be more detailed.”
The threatening words simply brushed off his shoulders as Alexander laughed, “Good one, that’s a classic. Never can go wrong with a little threat to keep the conversation going. But hey, if your dad is a god that means you don’t get a lot well huh? Must be tough at family dinners, what powers did you guys inherit then?” He asked assuming they had some type of powers, but he could be wrong.
